Hara Sushi at Village Mall is a definite go to if you are looking for delicious Korean food...their extensive menu will satisfy all tastes....prices are very reasonable and service is upbeat and friendly...it is not a large place so best to reserve ahead...the secret is out, some of the best sushi on Vancouver Island is right here in Sooke!Vegetarian options: Full vegetarian options for lunch and dinner.

From out of town and decided to try this place because of the decent reviews. Pretty disappointing sushi, especially for the price… Maybe it’s decent sushi for sooke but for us it wasn't that great.

Great vegan options and excellent service including her taking the time to check vegan options and ingredients in menu items to make sure. She was also prompt and friendly. SO happy I found this place ??.

Pan fried goyza was slimey, $17.85 'Special Hara Tonkatsu Ramen' was a basic bowl of noodles and broth with 2 thin bits of pork and half an egg. To be honest was not worth the near $30 paid. 10 out of 10 would not recommend.

I eat here all the time for the past 5 years. I have brought my friends from Japan here while they were visiting and they loved it and said it was high quality sushi that you would get in Japan. The Korean food choices are also delicious and authentic. Food is great and they have takeout too. Lastly the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. I highly recommend Hara Sushi!! Tunny Son is a great sushi chief masterVegetarian options: Lots and lots of delicious vegetarian choices

I've been twice now and the food is very good! Everything comes quick and staff is kind. Will definitely be back as I think this is now on my short list of go-to places for food in Sooke!

Everything was DeLish! Service was excellent, the macha green tea salt, I had the server put it in a doggy bag.Tempura prawns were amazing.

Rolls were chewy, bland, and dry. Tasted like grocery store sushi for regular sushi prices. Won't be going back :(

Food was alright. The real shining star was the service. One dish was forgotten (no biggie) and it was amended immediately. Nice little place.

Best sushi I’ve ever had! Highly recommended. Ordered the dinner platter combo (Sashimi and sushi combo) and it’s worth it!

I've frequented a lot of sushi restaurants in and around Vancouver. Hara staff were very friendly, but the sushi was below average.

Got two sushi rolls and it was absolutely horrible. Only flavour it had was oil/grease taste. I live in Sooke and my family will be continuing to go to Victoria and Langford for our sushi as this place was horrible.
