The front desk Susan is very nice and friendly. We love how patient and joyful she is. Miso soup and spicy tofu soup were pretty good. The donburi was not served with sushi rice, but it’s fine with me.
My favourite restaurant in Sooke! It's nice and clean with very good food & pleasant service. We have eaten there several times. Hara Sushi is a reliable place to bring friends for a quick & tasty meal.
Hara Sushi has great food with an authentic atmosphere, but the service left much to be desired. Our server, she seemed overworked, and we didn’t feel particularly welcomed. The rushed environment gave it more of a 'take and go' feel, which wasn’t what we expected from a Japanese restaurant.I wanted this place to be my go to Japanese place but this feel likes almost discriminatory. I don’t want to-bad mouth but even my partner, she felt it so.
