I ordered a latte and the sausage breakfast bagel. I came in after reading the wonderful reviews esp regarding the service. The server wasn’t very friendly and I was unable to finish the latte and the bagel due to the poor taste. The cafe decor is wonderful with art by local artists and plenty of tables.

Always a great place to go for a snack, Coffee, and some conversations. Everyone is very friendly.Parking: Laundromat close by, do your laundry and go for a great coffee or tea while you wait for your clothes to wash.

I gave this a 3 star because i went in for a nice beverage on a rough day. I'm relaxing, while only having had 3 sips of my expensive large eggnog Chai latte.. it spills all over the place. We had to call someone over to get a mop and clearly you could tell it was a full fresh cup all over the place. Other coffee places I've been to have offered new beverages no problem when unfortunate events like this happen. I understand I spilled my drink but it's the service and courtesy of asking a customer if they'd like a new beverage rather than cleaning it up and ignoring the fact that there full expensive coffee was all over the floor. Thanks serious coffee. Not sure I'll go there again.
Great little coffee shop, pretty busy but definitely worth the stop , especially if you have Laundry to do !

Just my personal opinion but this Serious Coffee is the BEST on the island. I love the atmosphere of a quiet cozy place. I love the art displayed there. Especially the piece that is in the washroom. I love people who work there: don’t engage in small talks when customers are not willing to talk (that’s me), advise something in Sooke area for visitors (that’s for many tourists here).Drinks are always great!

Lovely cup of mocha and yummy breakfast bagel perfect for our late start to the day. The staff were lovely and friendly. Asked if my son could eat McD's hashbrowns in store since he has a lot of allergies and they were very understanding about it. Great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and eat. A/C was cool and cafe is pretty spacious. There's also ample parking available in the complex.
