Has been hit and miss in the past but had a great birthday meal there for the wife. It's just such a great location. Lost a star for the table we were given. I booked a week + in advance and asked for a window booth to celebrate the birthday and got given the worst seat in the house. Thankfully it was a balmy evening so hit them to move us outside to the terrace. Server was great.
I cant rate the food as we just stopped by for drinks on the patio in the afternoon. As soon as we told the hostess we were just there for drinks her attitude changed. And we got a very neg vibe. Probably won't come back because of the chilly welcome. Or lack of welcome.
West Coast Grill does an amazing job at everything. Great food, service and ambiance, don't think twice, just go there and enjoy! Big shout-out to Jessyca, one of the best servers this establishment has ...very professional!
Edit: Still the best place to dine in Sooke, highly recommend. Sasha and Rebecca also amazing servers and they make sure you are taken care of!
