Turned off

The amount of meat inside the Calbee tongue was small, so I bought it along with it.The Kimchi Chiyahan didn't taste like kimchi and was bitter.Jia jang mien was good for the price.

It's been a while since I went to Baekmidang, and I was shocked by the server who didn't even have basic manners. He was a certain age, but he didn't even ask for kindness. It looks like they don't even have basic professionalism. I think it would be a good idea to refrain from looking sideways or looking up and down with a cold expression. I didn't go there to get something to eat, but I paid my own money to eat.. He left it behind as if he was dissatisfied and stared at the person with an expressionless expression. Even when he was paying, he begged me without saying how much it was and put it in front of the machine.. I think you should follow basic manners. .kindness??? I don't even want that. The food was really delicious, but it was disappointing because the server wasn’t even basic. Eh...

I heard it's famous for jjambbong, so I went there last week with my husband. It had a strong instant taste. But my husband eats well.I had high expectations so I was very disappointed.

Big servings but flavor wise is just fine, reasonable pricing though. Nice place to bring your family but you need also to have patience for waiting to be served.

Severe shrinkflation and cost cutting at work here. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant regularly for over a year on Uber Eats. I’ve noticed that they’ve experimented with increasing their prices for a while. As of typing, it looks like they’ve reverted back to their older pricing, but they give you WAY LESS food. The attached image is my order of mapo tofu. It used to fill half of this same container. Now it barely fills a quarter.

The taste of Jjamppong with added fire flavor is amazing.

Such authentic cooking and incredible depth of flavour. Plus, HUGE portions! We ordered 2 different soups via delivery and got nearly 10 servings between them.I can't wait to eat from here again and I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for delicious Korean food. Fantastic noodles, too.

The service is horrible here, just because I was a teenager they did not serve me right water and when some other family walks in they immediately serve them with water, i believe this is outrageous behaviour from the restaurant as I am also a paying customer.

The best Jjajangmyun (Noodles in black bean sauce) I’ve had in a long time and potentially ever. The portion size is generous and it is so cheap. The service was great too. I will definitely return.

Hands down the best Korean Chinese restaurant in Vancouver, flavour wise. 굴짬뽕 간짜장 깐풍기 are the top items there. It is very hole in the wall with an odd layout of tables so don’t expect a fancy dinner. Table clean up could be very slow during busy hours.

Has it changed owners? It was a Jjambbong restaurant that I've been frequenting for several years, but yesterday the plates, bowls, and even the spoons were consistently dirty. The noodles in the special Jjajang seemed to have been put in right away, but the Jjajang seasoning had become soggy as if it were old. I also ordered octopus jjamppong and clam jjamppong, but the clam jjamppong didn't have the refreshing taste of before, and the taste of both jjamppong soups was the same. It seemed like the octopus and clams were boiled separately. Originally, the sweet and sour pork at this place was the best crispy, but yesterday my child said it was hard. When I tasted it, the outside was crispy, as if the burnt fries had been coated and fried again, but the inside was black and hard. The taste was all burnt and bitter. The sanitary conditions and food quality on all menus were already terrible, so we quickly cleaned up and left. When I told him about the sweet and sour pork while paying, he said that the sweet and sour pork keeps getting burnt these days and that if he had told me in advance, he would have fried it again, but now he said there was nothing he could do for me. So I left with just a small tip. It's a shame because it's a house I've been to regularly.

Ordered Jjambbong Ganjjajeong. The service is good and the food is okay. I liked that the soy sauce was not too sweet. The soybean paste sauce is salty, so if you add it all at once, it will be salty, so adjust your taste accordingly.
