They’ll most likely go under just like the other previous owners. Speed is undyingly slow, food was most likely pre-frozen, taste was like I know I can make better. My second time here, I know all the other reviews was fake

I ordered seafood soup and I was absolutely blown away by how rich the broth was and the quantity and quality of seafood that was included. Tons of octopus, clams, shrimp and a huge mussel! The soup also had cabbage, carrots and pieces of delicious, rich garlic. I was very impressed. If I come back to Henderson mall, I will come here again!

A restaurant that served burnt sweet and sour pork—I’m never going back there again.

Good food with value. Can’t expect more. Spicy noodle is very hot. Can ask for mild if can’t handle but taste good with spicy especially in cold weather

One of Doni’s standout features is its dedication to quality ingredients. Each dish is freshly prepared, and it shows. The portions are generous, and the presentation is impressive, especially for a food court setting. It’s clear that thought and care go into every meal, making it feel like you’re dining at a standalone restaurant rather than a quick stop in the mall.
Doni has successfully elevated the mall food court dining experience. With its diverse menu, commitment to quality, and friendly service, it’s a standout option that’s well worth a visit. Whether you’re a regular mall-goer or just passing through, Doni offers a delicious escape from the usual fast food fare. Highly recommended!

Sweet and sour pork, dried pork, dried shrimp, black bean noodles, seafood jjamppong, and fried rice are all successful. They use only the good parts of sweet and sour pork that don't smell like meat (a disappointment in most Chinese restaurants in Vancouver), and don't skimp on the ingredients, and you can feel that even a bowl of black bean noodles is cooked with care. Above all, the dumplings we pick up on the way home are a staple in our freezer. I hope the taste doesn't change.

Jjamppong contains half a large crab, and the seafood is fresh, spicy, and plentiful.
However, I personally continued to drink water with a little salt.
A few days later, I will try squid rice bowl~
This was seasoned just right and good.
The vegetables and squid were fresh and there was a lot, so I thought I would leave some, but it was so delicious that I forgot how much it was and ate it all^^;;

We didn't enjoy the sweet and sour pork too much but the fried rice and black bean noodles were delicious. We came back a few days later for a second order of them. Curious to try the cold noodle soup next time

Website said online orders are until 7:30pm. Made an order and paid at 6:30pm. I went to pick up the food at 6:50pm, Doni was closed. Talked to the staff in the kitchen who was cleaning at that moment, told me that all were sold out. He checked his computer for my order and found it was indeed there but didn’t accept the order. Seemed like he didn’t know that there was an order.
Mistakes can happen but no apologies at all.
In conclusion, no food and wasted my valuable time. Quite disappointing.
Currently waiting for the refund…

I discovered Doni through a Korean community, learning that it had recently relocated from Surrey to Henderson Mall in Coquitlam Centre. Intrigued by the positive reviews, I decided to visit during a weekday at off-peak hours, shortly after 3 PM.
I ordered the spicy pork cutlet, and it did not disappoint. The batter and pork thickness were excellent, and the dish was well-executed. Although the sauce was flavorful and creamy, it wasn't the typical accompaniment for Korean pork cutlets and was spicier than I expected. I didn't quite like the sauce tbh.
However, I loved the texture and the flavour of the rice, and the sliced cabbage was fresh. Next time, I would opt for the non-spicy version, though I couldn't find it on the menu this time.
Located on the 2nd floor of Henderson Mall's food court, the area was clean and well-maintained. Like many Korean restaurants, Doni uses a small remote that rings and buzzes when your order is ready. The employee was kind, and the ordering process was smooth.
Some have complained about long wait times for their orders. Despite there being few customers, my order took about 10-15 minutes, which suggests they fry the cutlet fresh upon ordering. Otherwise, the wait time wouldn't make sense.
Considering the inflated food prices elsewhere, Doni is very affordable. I'm definitely returning to try their Korean-Chinese menu items and dumplings. Keep up the good work!
