I like Duke’s ice cream a LOT, and I’m glad it isn’t very close to where I live. ;-) The only reason I dock it one star is no tastes. You have to choose a flavour sans tasting. I get that they are busy and giving tastes slows the line, but c’mon—this is basic ice cream parlour etiquette! Also, the scoop size is underwhelming.
Love the ice cream here. Friendly staff. The only drawback is the strong disinfectant smell when you walk in the door. It’s great that it’s so clean, but the smell is quite strong. Still, you’re not in there for very long. 😊
Ice cream was amazing and love their flavours. Love the kids art on the walls, it creates a sense of community. Wish they did samples and had better waffle cones, but oh well.
Althoughhh this is our second time that the same employee at the cash had attitude. With an annoyed face given both times we walked in along with scoffing and rolling her eyes at us when we were deciding between a couple flavours. I understand having a bad day but this was a multiple occurrence...
