Only Ethiopian coffee from a variety of regions, both washed and anaerobic style. Based on my preferences for something bright and juicy/fruity the barista recommended the Sidama Shentawene washed as a pour over. The flavour was fine but didn’t have much juiciness. I’ll try a different variety next time. Good prices for specialty roasted beans.

don’t be fooled by the unpretentious interior, the coffee here is as good or better than your favourite whitewashed speciality roaster. super knowledgeable owner and very affordable high quality beans. will be back.

This is a nice and cozy Ethiopian coffee shop. They roast their beans in house. You can see the raw beans they store behind the counter as well as the roasting apparatus they have there.
They sell roasted coffee beans in 12oz bags. They also sell green coffee beans which you can roast yourself if you're into that. They have a website you can order from as well. A bit pricey, but well worth it.
As for the cafe, there are some seating inside. It definitely can get crowded if busy. They have the usual hot and cold coffee offerings. But they also have pour over coffee which is an experience in itself. Not much food options but that's not really why you come here.
Their coffee is mostly on the brighter side, light to medium roasted beans, which I prefer. Just the right amount of acidity.
The owner is really friendly and is definitely up to a conversation especially if it's not busy. Glad they're in the neighborhood!
Parking out front or back is quite a challenge since it's a busy complex. But there is a small underground parking available.

Finest Cup deserves ALL of its flowers! Never had a bad experience here. Carefully hand-crafted drinks made by the friendliest people. The Freddo Cappuccino hits every time! I also love that they showcase local jazz musicians to play from time to time and love what they do in general to build community in this area. I had to move away from Fleetwood a few months back but I continuously yearn for this place, as my new neighbourhood has nothing which quite compares!

Great coffee, kind staff, clean, relaxed/homey atmosphere. Beautiful art. I usually drink sweetened coffee, but I like to try unsweetened when it's a new place. This coffee was delicious all on its! (Also thank you for charging my phone for me!) Got an iced latte with oat milk: 5.75 (Liked it a lot so got some beans to take home!) Bag of espresso beans: 18$

I had the iced tiramisu latte made half sweet, it was still a bit too sweet for me personally but the coffee and flavor itself was amazing. I would highly recommend this cute, local coffee shop over big chains. Not on the main street but easy enough to locate, definitely a hidden gem!
