Hands down best Bun Bo hue in Guildford. The variety of protein they include like the pork blood and hock is unmatched. Love that they renovated so the atmosphere is upgraded. Highly

This is the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in Canada. The three types of grilled beef rolls is very tasty and the Bun Bo Hue is to die for. If you are in the area, it is a most stop.

Drove by because of heavy traffic congestion due to road construction. Was very pleasantly surprised that this hole in the wall has really good food. Again, if you are in the area this is another must try.

The best bun bo of the town. Strong of lemongrass flavors compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. Must try.

The food was good, well-priced and came in big portions. Staff were nice enough to turn down the A/C at our request.

Review from Canadian-born Asian Guy eating his way through the Vietnamese restaurants in the Lower Mainland.I eat a lot of Bun Bo Hue. It’s my go-to order at most restaurants that offer it. I’ve heard that Huong Viet does a pretty mean bowl so I was excited to try it.I’m going straight to the point and saying that this is one of the better bowls that I’ve had in awhile and will place it in my top 3. The combination of the flavourful broth, the ingredients included and the wallet friendly price makes this a winner.Expect to see cuts of brisket, Vietnamese ham, pork ball, pork hock and a cube of pork blood. If you don’t like the latter you can ask them to exclude the blood from your order.I apologize I didn’t take a picture because I was too busy devouring it. I will update with a picture the next time I come back.**Note: they are closed till late this month as they’re on vacation. Better to call first before visiting to make sure they’re back.

I ordered the lemongrass chicken with spring roll and husband ordered the 3 meats on rice. It was 8pm when we came so there was no other customer in the restaurant. The food was flavourful and the spring rolls were really delicious. I’m docking one star off because this is probably the only Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to in a really long time that served the lemongrass chicken bone in. It also wasn’t fully cut so it was very difficult eating the chicken attached to all its other adjacent parts. Also the bone fragments, blood and the marrow were falling into the vermicelli making it extremely frustrating to eat.I managed to eat the meal but with the need to constantly spit out hard fragments and congealed chicken blood. Also, it was over cooked.I will come back again to try other things but I’m sadly disappointed with the chicken which is usually my go to.Pro - no taxes and no cost for take out containers.

Went here tons of time with my partner. The Bún Bò Huế is out of this world. I am a Vietnamese myself, I grew up there for 15 years of my life. There is just something about Canadian Vietnamese food that I feel lacking of aromas and authentic to me. Though, I am impressed by their BBH. I always go there for it. My partner also said their lemongrass chicken rice is good. I met 3 different staff on different occasions and they were kind and nice to me. Made me feel welcomed. The food is also affordable and the amount they are giving is worth the price. We are always extremely full after eating one dish. 10/10 would come back.

The best beef wrapped in leaves (thit bo la lot) that I've tried so far and I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants. Their bun bo hue is good here too. Service is just like any average Vietnamese restaurant. Service has always been fast every time we go. I also like to order party size of the beef wrapped in leaves uncooked or pay a little bit more for cooked for home BBQ 's
