We bought food to eat at home with our family, the food was of poor quality and smelled bad, and the kebab and uncooked chicken smelled bad, everything went into the trash,

Two days ago I ordered the kabab platter that comes with three skewers of beef and chicken with rice and humus. I ate couple of pieces of beef and chicken and the humus. What happened to me next was the worst heart burns and diarrhea I have ever had in my life. I couldn’t sleep all night from the heart burns and diarrhea. I am very sure this was a case of food poisoning. I will never eat there again. The servant was rude, the atmosphere was stuffy.

For our experience I will start with the service.
The owner / manager was very nice and really wanted us to have a great experience. He checked in on us and sincerely wanted us to have good food, watching our face expressions and listening with interest for our feed back.
We appreciated and respected this. However we also had a server as we dined in the restaurant and for this reason they lost marks. She was unable to anticipate any needs, we were not asked if we wanted drinks. When we requested water and two drinks off the menu we received our hot drinks with a lovely container of cubed sugar however we had no spoons to stir in the sugar, No napkins on the table and liquid spilled all down the side of the cup. We had to ask for the water twice. A theme for the evening was having to ask for cutlery. We had to ask for spoons at the beginning the meal, cutlery for our main course, and then again for dessert.
And unfortunately she brought everything one at a time rather than saving herself a trip and bringing it all at once. While frustrating this was not as bad as when she decided to clean during dinner. She pulled out the broom and swept. Not a quick there's a few crumbs let me grab them, no, she did a thorough sweeping of the restaurant. Including sweeping the rug at the front door all while billowing dust and debris into the air next to our table. In fact anyone walking into the restaurant had to step over the giant pile in the middle of the floor. This was at 5:30 p.m Dinner hour! It's like inviting people over for dinner and deciding as they sit down to eat now is a good time to sweep your house!
If you put that aside the overall ambiance is lovely, the TV reflected the food they were serving and the music also added to the whole experience.
We ordered the mixed shawarma plate. The tabouli was lacking in flavor, the lovely garlic sauce that they usually serve came out lumpy and lacking in flavor, we did have that replaced and it was better. The pickled turnip was mushy and seemed old. We were disappointed in the overall flavors of everything we had. Having had this meal at the other Jerusalem grill location in Langley we were very much able to tell the difference.
We did decide to try the baklava, however after one bite we returned it. They had not used any syrup to soak the baklava in which is of course what gives baklava It's unique flavor and texture. I can understand wanting to make it less sweet but this was not sweet at all. And the nuts were stale which insured a return to the counter.

there was a nice long hair in my wrap. Best part, I pulled it out after I had taken the bite.
Food tastes good, but I feel its expensive compared to other shawarma joints

Food was on the saltier side of things. I’m certain their lamb steak was seasoned with Montreal steak spice.

The chicken in the wraps is sometimes raw, slimy, and squishy, but majority of the chicken is good, but if they made every single chicken cooked good in the wraps then it would be a 10/10.

Platters are good, but too expensive to frequent.
I recently came here and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The falafal wrap was a standout, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive n friendly

Usually ordered online, but the cute packaging of my food delivery( yesterday) compels me to dine in for friendly service. We had our family dinner and the food was super delicious. We had chicken shawarma. The staff (girl) seems pretty new, but she was so sweet and friendly. She asked about anything we need, and provide us the dessert as well. The baklava was very delicious as well. The atmosphere inside the restaurant, the music was very good. I usually don’t believe in giving feedbacks, but this is really best place I have ever visited, highly recommended to everyone.

To be honest a very bad experience by the staff who served us, once we enter the shop, staff said hi and then she said u can take the menu from that table and after few minutes she came to ask what’s my order and I ordered only 1 item and she made a very bad sound since I order 1 items and her face also I show she was making very bad move. after few minutes another customer entered with 3 kids and she said hi to them and after they seated she came out from the cashier and she gave them the menus. this kind of cheap class behavior won’t work in this country. each and everyone should treat equal. I went to the restaurant with high expectation because we have a family dinner next week so I wanted to order from them, but because her behavior and the bad service I end up going back to the restaurant.

I recently revisited Jerusalem Grill, and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! The food is fantastic and full of flavor. The dish that stood out to me the most was the whole grilled chicken—it's perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The quality and taste of their food have definitely improved since my last visit, and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for delicious and satisfying meals, Jerusalem Grill is a great choice. I'll certainly be coming back for more!
