I ordered takeout set A for two and preserved egg and lean meat porridge. The pineapple in the sweet and sour pork in the set was bad and expired. The preserved egg and lean meat porridge was even more outrageous. It looked like it had been left out for several days and was almost gone, so I added water to boil it again. It smells sour and sour. I bought it thinking it was cheap, but it turned out to be cheap but not good.

Was looking for an affordable place for Peking Duck near Langley and this place was the best deal in town.It doesn't look like much on the outside but the food made up for it.I ordered Combination C which was $168 for a 7 course meal.There were 4 of us and there was so much food left that we were able to take the food home for leftovers.The best was the Peking duck in 2 courses (pancakes and lettuce wrap).Service was attentive and food was amazing ?!Best deal in town. They have other combinations that were super affordable too.Will definitely be back.

I visited with two small boys and my mom.We ordered the dinner for 4 along with a crab in house sauce and seafood hotpot. It was an enormous meal, could easily feed 8, the portions were extremely generous. The flavors were excellent and we all enjoyed the variety.I can't say enough about how attentive the staff were, we were well taken care of, some of the best service I've experienced ever. The parking is somewhat limited but we were able to find a spot without trouble. We didn't have reservations and did not have to wait for a table, but reservations would be a good idea if you are bringing a large party. Thank you to the cooks and staff for a memorable outing!Parking: There is a small lot in front and another in rear of the restaraunt.Wheelchair accessibility: Shouldn't be a problem

i thought i should try this place again because i haven't been here in a while and on yuen was closed until 4pm. i came in when it wasn't busy at 3pm on a thursday. i was expecting a nice late lunch and to be accomodated with portions for one. i asked to get half of a small wonton soup, they refused. so i just got a regular small wonton along with a combo for one and two spring rolls.the wonton soup was flavourless. the pork and wontons in the soup tasted bad, probably old or even slightly rancid. after eating a little i put it aside and started eating my combo. the sweet sour pork was dry and covered in bottled sweet sour sauce. the beef broccoli would have been good if half the beef wasn't covered in sweet sour sauce. the fried rice and spring roll was ok.the people who were serving me started eating and didn't see i was no longer eating. i really wanted to get my bill and leave. i was charged almost $40 for a meal that was incredibly dissapointing, where the staff stood and watched me.i can't come back to a place who isn't going to take care of just one customer and serve them bad food. it would have been nice if they made a nice meal so i would want to come back. some people don't understand the restaurant business. i expect this place to close very soon.

I would give zero stars if I could.I called to ask about allergens and the lady said “this is Chinese food. We don’t know what’s inside it” You don’t know what your chicken chow mein is made with??I tried asking another question, and said that it doesn’t really make sense they don’t know what’s in their food- she proceeded to hang up on me… I found out last year I have an egg allergy, I have been a customer here for years and just wanted to see if there was anything at all on the menu I could eat. I called back and she automatically hung the phone back up.Dont come here if you have allergies of any kind. They don’t know what’s in the food they’re serving, and hang up on customers when they ask.

I ordered through uber eats and all 5 dishes were badly cooked and had no taste...fried squid was overdone and too salty, the eggplant and fish paste here the fish paste waz burnt brown jn color! The fried rice had no taste! The boneless chicken pieces were so big and not that tasty ...the fried noodles had too much sauce! Horrible food ! Disgusting taste!

Holy the food was so good! Fast and perfectly authentic Cantonese food. It was our first visit, and will definitely be our new fave Chinese restaurant in Surrey. Highly recommend.
