Took mom for her 80th birthday dinner. She loved her steak! And she’s a bit of a picky eater. Our server Logan,was fantastic,super sweet,nice smile and nice cologne as well. He surprised mom with a birthday dessert and started singing happy birthday to her…THANKS Logan! You are awesome!!

Not sure what was going on tonight, but the food I picked up was really disappointing. This is normally our go-to Greek spot, but the rice had a weird taste, like a different and overpowering oil. Everything else—the bread, chicken, and potatoes—was dry and pretty flavorless.

Had a birthday dinner there recently, this is one of those Golden days style restaurants, home made style, cook to order, tastes were excellent. Servers were great, I ask if they have birthday cake I can order for the friend that has the birthday, they surprise us with a dessert with candle and sang happy birthday to us. A gem of a place, will go back for sure.

Straight to the point ...change the deep fryer grease ...Calamari, on-top of being frozen ... completely lacking the tentacle portion of the squid...tasted like mediocre burnt or near burnt grease , rice ...very poor but edible ....my lamb was good ....but ya ..overall disappointing Only reason I didn't complain in house ...the person I was with ...wouldn't let me

Do better ....change the grease ...and leave the frozen ...in Walmart
The Missus and I along with two family outlaws had a pleasant dinner at the Royal Oak Restaurant. The Missus had visited Royal Oak Pizza in Burnaby many moons ago. The decor inside projects a 1980’s Greek restaurant vibe. The server was friendly and prompt with taking our orders. Our dishes were above average in taste and value priced. There was ample parking in the rear which was very convenient. A nice visit if in the area.

I had souvlacky very good came with rice potatoes, Greek salad pita bread, and tajiki sauce . The tastes were delitful and vegetables very fresh, I enjoyed watching a hockey game as well .
