Slow and inconsiderate service.
We placed our order and waited like 10 mins. No problem. They were busy. My daughter asked for a glass of water and was told to stand in line again and place an order. I thought that was very strange. The water is free- why not just pour a cup while making our drinks?????

Should not take 30 minutes to get an iced latte even if it was Christmas Day!

Came into Starbucks today and they were super busy! The team is working hard and well organized. I had an issue with my app and the Sudeep (manager) was so kind, helpful and efficient. Thank you Sudeep!

Lousy service. The Baristas seem to be disgruntled with not just their jobs, but their lives it seems. The ambience is good. Get some staff that know they work in hospitality.

Although wanted to drive through but it was too busy. The coffee was great as always. It was a bit busy but the service is fast so wait time is less. Good happy and a cordial staff.

I always regret choosing the drive-through at the Starbucks in Southpoint, South Surrey—it's become a reliably frustrating experience. Every time I go, it takes forever to get my order. Today, I waited over 15 minutes for a simple coffee and a snack, even though the line wasn't that long. The service was horrible; the staff seemed completely disorganized and rushed, probably because they're always short-staffed, as I can only guess. What made it even worse was the complete lack of any apology or acknowledgment from the baristas. They just handed over my items without a word, as if long waits are the norm. I've dealt with this multiple times now, and it's disappointing because I actually like Starbucks' products, but the poor execution ruins it every time. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else if you're in a hurry. Starbucks, please address your staffing issues—this location needs some serious attention.

I think this location really needs to improve staff training. During my drive-thru today, the staff member Kelvin told me to “don’t talk to me like that, watch my attitude,” which was completely uncalled for. He asked me to park on the side to wait, but at that moment a garbage truck was right in front of me making a lot of noise. I didn’t hear him clearly, so I simply asked where exactly he wanted me to park. Instead of clarifying, he accused me of having an “attitude.”

To be clear, I only asked because the garbage truck was blocking the area and I couldn’t hear him well. There was nothing wrong with my question. If an employee cannot handle a simple clarification without taking it personally, maybe customer service is not the right job for them. Customers deserve respect, not unnecessary rudeness.

Possibly one of the worst drive thrus in all of South Surrey. They started hiring Tim Hortons workers and went downhill from there. Only had 2 cars ahead of me and it somehow took 20 minutes. Do NOT come here if you’re looking to get a quick drink/snack.

Try not to get someone with headphones on to take your order. Two drinks wrong and to cap it all, the cup was leaky. One to avoid.

Typical Starbucks, always sit outside, so loud inside no way to have a conversation with anyone

I visited this location for a mobile order this morning and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. My decaf coffee took about 15 minutes to be ready, which was longer than I expected. A barista suggested I try an Americano decaf next time, which I found a bit odd considering I've successfully ordered decaf pike roast in the past without such delays.
When I went to my car to eat my wrap, I discovered it was the wrong order. I took it back inside to address the issue. Instead of a genuine apology, the barista laughed and responded with, “Oh, what’s wrong now?” This reaction felt unprofessional and dismissive.
I believe customer service is important, and I hope my feedback can lead to improvements in the experience at this location.
