The appetizers were DELICIOUS. Wished the lettuces wraps were shredded when I asked for them To be cut up but they were very big & had to use my fork & knife to cut but were delicious!!! My friend ordered fish & chips she found it oily.

Service started off great, however as the experience continued we found it hard to get our server which made the meal not great. We had to ask for things multiple times or wait a long time to get something. Doesn't leave a great taste in your mouth when you have to ask for a dip multiple times and wait. And then get charged for it. My boyfriend had fish and chips and wanted extra tartare sauce since it wasn't even half full and then he was charged. Our server was very nice but seemed to have way too many tables. Steak was overcooked and burnt but he never came around to check and was hungry so ate it. Overall it will be awhile until we go back.

Reso for 7:30pm on a Tuesday. Not super busy, maybe 1/4 full at most. Got seated and waited a while to get greeted and longer to get drinks. Ordered food right away. Food came out reasonably quick, no wine refill, no pop refill. Felt like we were being held hostage for the bill. Spent way too much time waiting for things. I assume weekends are better with more staff but it wasn't great.

We enjoy Tap & Barrel. With a larger group it would be helpful for 2 or 3 wait staff to bring your plates out at the same time. We had one person bringing 2 plates, then a wait, then a couple more. Would also appreciate having 2 or 3 machines to pay the bills at the end of the evening rather than one at a time. Our waitress was pleasant but a couple of times we had to try and find her . Hopefully next time will see a little improvement.

are server and waiters were very out going cut the burger in 4 for my dad the food was awesome we had a table for 10 people the food came out hot and we all ate at the same time we had to add 2 more seats to the table and a place for the newborn baby it was not a problem at all for them to add more seats I like to say thank you very much and we will be back again very soon Tammy Sinclair

We came for an after wedding event for my son and his new bride along with family. They brought them a bottle of bubbly and we were all treated exceptionally well! Service was poor. Had to ask table to be wiped. Had to ask for plates and napkins for the appy. Had to ask for cutlery for dinner. The bills were incorrect.

An outstanding night as always at Tap ...specially when a complete stranger (another diner) came up to me on her way out, held my hand and said your daughter Nicole is amazing ... such a hard worker, she did such a great job ! Well done Nicole! Proud Mama !!

Hello I did not realize there were two sections to this location. I'm assuming that because I stated my group was celebrating we were placed in the sports bar side. It was extremely noisy due to the NFL game that was blaring and not many people watching. On top of that we had 6 people in our group and were seated in a booth with two bar table chairs at the end. One of my group members is disabled and had to climb up. Unfortunately I arrived late and our table was already seated. On my way to the washroom is when I realized their was a diningroom side which would have been much more suitable for a group that was just wanting a nice lunch and conversation. Our waiter was nice, up beat.....a little too upbeat. He seemed a bit disorganized and frantic. By the time we received our bill we were ready to leave due to this behavior. The food was good and the others in my party were happy with their meals. Overall, I was still happy to have chosen Tap and Barrel South Surrey and hope for a better experience next time.
