Food was not great. The chicken teriyaki rolls were small and had a very "chicken" taste. The volcano rolls were just California rolls with two squirts of colored sauces on it.We witnessed the sushi chef coughing without covering his mouth multiple times while preparing food.The server was working very hard and we had positive interactions with her. However, food quality just wasn't great.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years. We moved to another city so it has been a while. Today I ordered pickup and unfortunately, I do not know what happened, but this was the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. I ordered 40.00 worth of sushi and could only eat the steamed rice. The BC roll had the texture/tasted like canned salmon with California roll mix that was heated up in a microwave. The fish in the rolls were overly pungent and did not taste fresh or good quality. I ended up throwing it all out. Just not good at all anymore.Dietary restrictions: Not a good option for people who cannot eat gluten.

Food is good and the servers are polite / friendly however I feel they should slow down as I had quite a bit of tea spilled on my leg when the server poured. Not a big deal but just thought I'd give some constructive criticism, better to have customers wait a little longer than risk spilling something on them.

The sashimi is thick and big. I had the chirashi it was wonderful! Lots of different flavours and textures. There are probably 7 or more different kinds of fish per serving. I love the sketch on the window as well.

The food is pretty tasty but I’m sorry guys your portions have dwindled. A piece shouldn’t be this thin…basically getting half a roll cut nice and thin ?

Ordered here for the first time! They have reasonable prices and extensive menu items! Seems very popular for take out too! Feedback for the the takeout menu (which you can place online yourself): include descriptions of the sushi items. They do on their in house menu but not their togo so figuring out what is in what is a mystery! I ordered the Spicy tofu udon (huge chunks of tofu, flavourful broth, and lots of noods), veg tempura (super affordable and excellent batter to veg ratio, (and Gomae (the sauce is really watery and not the best I've had).Food was good and I can't wait to try their sushi rolls!

Ordered the Chirashi and it was excellent! Plenty of fish, variety well as preparation, and wonderful presentation. Very thoughtful and purposeful, and was delicious. I was impressed!Place has been around for a long time and I feel like it's getting better. The party trays have always been great. They season their rice well and always has the right moisture content.

Ordered take out and brought home was not correct called and was put on hold for 45 minutes my husband went to the restaurant and said your phone is off the hook and they didn't care said too busy but they answered and said no acknowledgement of error and when given the food they handed it with no bag....no

A lively restaurant hidden on the side of Fraser highway, this restaurant has stellar selections on their menu including udon combos, Bento boxes, as well as traditional sushi and fusion sushi. The sushi section of the kitchen is in the front and visible to the dining room as the restaurant is smaller in size, and you can watch the chef's at work preparing your meals. The staff are energetic, polite, and deliver your food much quicker than you can anticipate. It can get quite busy during dinner service but the staff are willing to accommodate your needs if requested.
