I went at the beginning of May 2025 and I must say that the rooms are wonderful and the view incredible but unfortunately I have three negative comments to mention, the first is that for a resort that I consider fancy the menus of the restaurant and the pub are exactly the same that was definitely a bit disappointing and on the other hand my boyfriend and I were very excited to schedule a massage together but it turns out that during all the days we were there they only had one person giving the massages so we couldn't go together, since we booked that was one of our main plans and of course we didn't do it. The attention was good although finally I expected that there would be cleaning and change of towels in our room but there wasn't even one day out of 5 that we were there, I hope they take this into account and make changes because the hotel is beautiful but the experience was not so much

We went there on Feb 10 for my wife’s 50th birthday.
I got a cold handed massage with constant water running trying to warm up her hands. And a a really horrible massage all together. Luckily my wife beside me had a great Massage
We call to the front desk to make sure the hot tubs where ready walked down to the tubs in are robes to find both where cold. Do to maintenance
And then to are beautiful room. Next door there were painting the inside and put there drop sheets and paint cans on the outside deck and all the smell came over to us.
The manager said this don’t happen.
Will not return to black rock. To bad could of been great

The food was tasty but the hostess was very slow. We stood and waited to be seated for 10 minutes. It took about 5 minutes to be acknowledged. Then food was ran, coffee poured, and we watched. It was not very busy when we came in. Four tabels of no more than 4 at each table.

We had the salad & chicken & halibut.
Halibut zero issues. However, the chicken is quite salty - if you would order the chicken, I'd recommend either no salt or definitely ask for less.

The view is stunning, but the menu is very underwhelming. The service is ok. Not great, not terrible. We ate here several times over our 3 night stay and were never blown away by either food or service.
Both the service and the food are really good. You must come to this restaurant when you travel to this area. I have tried five restaurants in this city, and this one has the best food and service.

This restaurant is located in the Black Rock Resort in Ucluelet. We invited two friends to have a meal with us. Two of us had the Lamb and two had the steak. The meals were prepared and presented beautifully. The scenery is outstanding. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They are even willing to take a photo to help mark the occasion.

The food and drinks took 20 minutes to arrive and the staff forgot a glass of orange juice. However the French toast hashbrowns fruit and coffee are expertly made and one of the best breakfast I ate in Ucluelet, I would love to come back to this establishment. The atmosphere was very professional and simply calming.

Came here for my birthday dinner. Parking is far from the restaurant entrance. Was greeted in a friendly manner by the host. We were seated fairly quickly with a reservation. Great atmosphere! Lovely view!! Service was just alright, but everyone seemed friendly. Food was fairly good as well. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak. No complaints of the food, was just the service as we barely seen our waitress and had to find someone for a water and our bill at the end.
