We were looking for late night food, as we were leaving in the morning to go back to the mainland. We ordered 2 hotdogs and beef tacos. The food was very very good. There was a Halloween party / open mic happening at the time as well, so we sort of stuck out like a sore thumb not knowing about this party lol. The owner and guests at the party made us feel welcome. I was really impressed at the musical talent and had a great time. We were just looking for a quick bite of food...
One of the only places open for a quick bite on Thanksgiving Monday and it was really busy. I felt bad as they only had one front of the house person working and she was run off her feet. Great hot dogs with some interesting flavour combinations and I greatly enjoyed my veggie dog. We took it to go and enjoyed it back at the hotel.
We stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind—our server (an Australian guy) made us feel welcome right away. The hot dogs were delicious, and while the space is small with limited seating, it’s absolutely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
