What an amazing find! My family and I are driving from Haida Gwaii, BC to Windsor, ON and while searching for hotels to stay at along the way we found this gem. Our experience started with check in. We were warmly greeted at the front desk and check in was quick. Then we went to dinner in the restaurant, which was absolutely delicious. Deceiving exterior and truxk stop look interior but the food is top notch. Chef Bill Tarkanen takes pride in his dishes. Personally came out to see how we liked the meal.
Said he came from a luxury resort that had closed due to covid.
You must give this restaurant a try.
Prices are higher than your truck stop menu but completely worth it. You get what you pay for.
