Overdone eggwash and overbaked pineapple bun led to a disappointing experience

I called on Wednesday and ordered four carrot cakes to eat at noon on Sunday; she said there was no problem. I went to meet him at noon today, but he didn't say anything.
Very disappointed! If I can give negative points, I will give negative points.
He told me to call and book again next time!
I won’t believe it anymore; I have no confidence at all! I suggest you not to believe him!
1st Avenue Bakery is a charming, old-school spot selling classic Cantonese baked goods. I tried their coconut flakes bun, egg tarts, and pineapple bun, and all were delicious—fresh, flavorful, and very affordable. The prices make it a great value for the quality.
The place itself looks quite dated, but it adds to the nostalgic vibe and charm. The service was okay—nothing exceptional but efficient enough. If you’re looking for a trip down memory lane or just some tasty traditional baked goods, this is a great place to visit.

I can deal with the atmosphere being crappy, but the food has definitely taken a turn towards the unedible zone...not great chicken nor bbq buns last 3 times. May be my last from them

Look. Obvious its bakery to get Bo Lo Bau buns. Lady is kinda old so be patient. Pineapple, Custard, Ham, so much variety. Some are under $2. Where else in Vancouver can you get this?

The lady in front is not the best at customer service, gives off very rude and attitude towards customers. My husband and I got food poisoning from eating their bakery. This place used to be good few years ago but now it’s the worst ever. I suggest you get bakery from the T&T instead of this place. Never coming back again.
EXTREME HEALTH HAZARD - Bones in the buns. I bought a number of items and in the BBQ Pork bun there were a few decent sized rib type bones. This is extremely dangerous. Never in my life out of 1,000's of items have I ever seen a bone in a Chinese bakery item.
