Fuku Ramen & Udon is a compact restaurant in the East Vancouver area on First Avenue, serving traditional ramen and udon dishes. Bubble tea and combos are available. The katsudon is highly recommended, described as one of the favourite dishes in Vancouver with a super unique flavour and a perfect portion for a meal. The ramen itself does not feel too heavy; the soup feels much lighter while still being satisfying. There are multiple vegetarian ramen options, which is very rare at ramen restaurants. The decor is cute, with shapes made from string lights. The service is very nice and respectful. Even when busy, the server takes great care and explains everything clearly. The restaurant is also helpful with allergies, warning about potential egg in items like fish meat cake. The deep fried porkie on rice teriyaki is good. If an order is forgotten, like the broth for a classic ramen, the staff are very nice and deliver it to the home, along with a free delicious yogurt drink and an order of pork gyoza. Everything is delicious with just perfect portions.
