I buy the beans often for my drip coffee at home. I got a coffee and donut here. It tasted burnt and the staff member seemed unhappy to remake my drink. Negative experience overall and i think their espresso machine needs some maintenance, i got a latte next time and it had the same issue.

Great vibe, donuts are a sourdough so I’m excited to bring a GF friend here! We tried a peanut butter jello donut, an old fashioned and glazed.

I arrived at 4 pm and ordered two donuts and two coffees. I felt the donut dough was a bit too hard, not soft at all. I ordered an iced mocha, which was very bitter and had no coffee flavor at all. I had to add syrup, but the taste was still just so so.

While the Venezuelan coffee is the most popular one here, the cappuccino can probably be improved.
Not sure if it’s a Canadian thing but coming from Europe, I always find it a bit bitter and not so balanced.

on past visits i haven’t been too impressed by their donuts or coffee but this time i decided to try their matcha and a new donut. the pumpkin cheesecake donut for fall was really good!! it was really thick and had lots of pumpkin filling, and the cream on top was lovely and just the right amount of sweetness. the iced matcha latte was good though definitely not a strong matcha flavour, i liked that it was more on the sweet side though.
will be back to try more of the donut flavours!

Lucky’s Donuts inside Parallel 49 is one of my favorite spots. Their peanut butter and jelly donuts are the best, and I always love the berry berliner. Pairing any of their donuts with a latte or chai latte is a must, both are excellent.
They also have a nice outdoor space to enjoy your treats, though keep in mind they are not dog friendly. Still, it’s a lovely neighborhood to relax in and makes for a great visit every time.

Staff is really friendly, but the coffee is a bit too sour for my taste, and the donut I had was dry (and expensive).
I asked for vanilla in my cappuccino, which I knew was an extra charge ahead of ordering. I go to pickup the drink from the bar, and noticed he didn't say vanilla, so I asked, hi is there vanilla in the drink? And he looked at the ticket said no, that's extra, I said I know that's what I ordered, he said no you didn't pay for that and kept making other drinks....ok...I walked back over to the front and said hi I asked for vanilla and then the guy charges me the 1.05 for the vanilla, I go back, guy is making drinks, doesn't acknowledge me, I said hi I just paid for the vanilla, and he grabs the drink, takes it to the espresso machine? And PRETENDS to pour syrup into it, I thought my eyes were playing so I just said ok I took the drink, sat down, tried it, no vanilla, I go back up and say hi can I please have more syrup in here I don't taste it, again he tries to grab the drink to take it to the bar where I can't see, so I ask can I pour it myself? And he frowns and hands me an almost empty, no label, plastic bottle, I squeeze in 2 tablespoons, sit down, stir, try it, no vanilla taste. I don't know what's wrong with this place but they are charging you a dollar extra for fake vanilla syrup which is just sugar water. Extremely disappointed with the service. Would not recommend.
