Food was decent. Fresh and crispy. Service is what I liked . The girls works super hard cause the place is busy with walkin and talk out orders. It was non stop with take out and people coming. The Chinese lady was running or speed walking constantly.

Great authentic Taiwanese! Awesome friendly service and nice warm, clean decor. Nice chewy beef noodles and tendon and beef cooked perfectly. Cabbage was a little sweeter than my liking but solid

Visited during lunch time. The beef noodle was good but other food was average.

Tried out A.Bento, a Taiwanese spot, on a weekday for lunch. Seems to be very popular with the office workers in the area.
- Matcha smoothie ($3.25) - one of their dine-in drink specials. Too icy even after letting it melt. Reminded me of a Starbucks matcha frappe
- Beef noodle soup ($18.95) - broth was well balanced. Good amount of beef chunks. Wanted more pickled mustard greens
- Taiwanese crispy chicken nuggets bento ($17.95) - generous portion of chicken
- Black pepper beef brisket bento ($18.95)
Tried the Spicy Beef Fried Rice, Fried Chicken, Shrimp Pancake, Stir Fried Bitter Melon with Salted Egg, all good. The bitter melon dish was a nice surprise, not too bitter and complemented well by the salty egg. Desserts were Mango Panna cotta and Basque Chesecake. Meh. Overall our dinner was good, but with all the competition out there, not worth a return visit.

Went during my lunch break. The restaurant smelled funky when I entered and I was seated near the window where it was quite cold. I ordered a chicken nugget bento. It wasn't that busy when I ordered so I was surprised when it took about 25 minutes for me to get my food and other tables who ordered after me got theirs before me. With half my lunch break gone, it was difficult to enjoy the food. I had to get a take out box which they charged $0.35 for and didn't tell me in advance. The chicken nuggets themselves were good and it was a big portion.

it’s a personal mission of mine to try every beef noodle soup in this city. abento has one of the top 5. it’s so perfectly balanced, well-priced, and a good portion size. this is one of the best taiwanese restaurants in canada for a reason!

Me and my fiancé first time trying here and ate here for lunch. The decor is super cute and the waitress offered another chair to put my backpack on the side which was very thoughtful of her!
My fiancé got the Taiwanese chicken nuggets bento with the peach tea and I got the pork deluxe bento.
Such generous portions for both and absolutely delicious! was very filling and the side dishes were such a good balance with the rice & meat.
Highly recommend and would definitely come back here ☺️
