ABento is always good! Ordered multiple times from them on UberEats for office lunches and everyone just love their food.
We ordered the chicken soup this time with a group of 8. We tried that before and it’s too good for a raincouver weather, so we’re back again!
While we’re waiting for the table the server told us they required a 18% gratuity for larger groups. I really appreciate them for notifying us about this rule before we’re seated. Ok anyways service was great and 18% is totally worth it!

Ordered off UberEats. Pretty decent. Nothing to complain about. Chicken came crispy and good portion on most menu I ordered. Will probably order again.

Unfortunately cannot really recommend this place. Perhaps my appetite is big but the bento is not worth based on the portion size. Small bowl of rice and very average side dishes. The braised meatball itself was very good but if they had added perhaps free refills of rice for a small $$ add on, would’ve been more worth.
Fried chicken is a classic litmus test for a good taiwanese place and this was disappointing. Batter separates from the meat instead of coating it and again, very small portion size for the price of an appetizer that almost equaled the bento price.
No issues with service and the atmosphere.

Came here for dinner and catching up with some old friends who are in town. Very relaxed atmosphere, and we appreciate the staff being patient as we were caught up in our conversations and took some time to order. Authentic, delicious Taiwanese food and great portions. Attentive service. Easy to get to being so close to the Broadway-City Hall station. Would come back again.

Chicken clam soup has a taste due to stinky clams. 蝦鬆 came with lettuce which should be served with iceberg cabbage and very pricey for the portion. Beef noodle soup is not the best but at least it hasn’t gone bad.

Wonderful. I'll be back. Soup is OUTSTANDING. The soup gets served and goes back to get a flavour upgrade. Very unique experience. Plates are beautifully plated and flavours are amazing.

tasty! Authentic Taiwanese flavor! A good choice for homesick travelers
They charge 18% tips for lunch with 4 adult and a toddler automatically. We did not realize and tip on top as well until we paid. Does not honestly disclose. Would not have mind if the service was worth it but nothing special but bring your food to you.

Chinese diners beware, there is scam going around regarding this restaurant and the workers are AWARE of this and refuse to change anything. My Chinese friend was approached by a lady outside asking if she knew Chinese, assuming she was going to ask her for directions. She said she recently came from China and that she forgot her wallet and wanted to have a meal bought for her, a cheap $15 meal. She was pressured into going inside and proceeded to order a $37 BOWL! While also being FAMILIAR WITH THE STAFF and speaking to a worker SHE ALREADY KNOWS. She asked the woman to cancel the order and she instead chose a cheaper one and was forced to pay as she couldn't dine and dash. When she approached the servers about this issue they said she COMES AND DOES THIS ALL THE TIME. Why would they continue to let her come back and get their customers scammed like this?
