Tried the morning combo today, croissant is too dried for me, drip coffee is not good but that’s the only option for the morning combo. The cafe is comfortable to dine in, staff is friendly.
Lumiere Cafe recently opened on Broadway and Cambie, offering drinks, baked goods and their own coffee beans. Their croissants, featuring unique flavours like masago and salted egg yolk, were striking. I enjoyed a masago croissant that was crispy outside, soft and moist inside with additives of seaweed. Their mocha was sizeable, well-balanced and offered optional whipped cream free of charge. Staff was friendly and offered croissant samples.

I saw the iced strawberry matcha drink on the sandwich board sign, and am usually pretty skeptical of these 'special' drinks, but ordered it anyway, and I was surprised that it turned out to be the absolutely, hands down, BEST cold matcha drink I've ever had! The strawberry mixed perfectly to take away any bitterness of the matcha, and I ordered it half-sweet which also turned out to be perfect. Service was great and super friendly as usual.
