I don’t recommend the A&W on Alberni Street, downtown Vancouver
On August 29th, I ordered from A & W, for the 2nd time since last year. The Onion rings, last year, were disgusting. They looked like greasy burnt shoe laces. I would rate those onion rings a 0 out of 10. This time, it was exactly the same except they weren't as thin as shoe laces. For that reason I'm giving them a .5 out of 10.

A&W Canada offers a friendly atmosphere and helpful staff who provide great customer service. The food is typical of the A&W brand. This location can be dodgy at times, but the food is still typical of A&W. The service is generally okay, and the staff remain polite and professional. The food is fresh, and the place is relatively clean considering the location. The staff are always so courteous and they always let customers use the bathroom if they need to. Food is always up to standards too. The crispy veggie burger is recommended. This location is within walking distance of many apartments and offers a good sitting spot and a good heat spot in the winter.
