Albasha Express Shawarma & Falafel

We ordered a large shawarma poutine and it was great! The fries were super hot and crispy. It was pouring rain and we were soaked, and the staff kindly boiled water for us to drink and even gave us free lentil soup. Such a kind gesture and a great experience overall :)

This place is my comfort spot, the food fills my stomach perfectly and makes me feel warm and happy, the people working there are extremely nice and it’s all reasonably priced.

I'm not sure how many weeks the samosa had been there but it was so bad I couldn't keep chewing for more than once I had to spit it out. They still had the audacity to say it was freshly made.

Two stars because my mixed beef & Lamb meat shawarma wrap was not warmed up or toasted. The contents were poorly wrapped so when I went to unwrap the food the top spilled out. Could not differentiate the meat. There are many competitors with similar pricing. The wrap could be tighter, more compressed and warmed up.

The quality of beef shawarma was so bad. I wish it had zero star.

We stopped by and ordered a beef shawarma, but unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing.The only thing we could taste was salt—it was overwhelmingly salty. And it was over priced. The service was also very slow. Overall, it was one of the worst shawarmas we've ever had. We definitely won't be ordering from here again.

OMG! One of the best beef and lamb dishes I’ve ever had in my entire life! As a meat lover and döner kebab fan, I’m giving Albasha five golden stars! The falafel was also delicious. The team is so welcoming and warm, with generous portions and wraps. I absolutely recommend it, and their Richmond store “Shawarma 2 Go” is already on my list to try the Iskandar kebab.

Last minute hunger strike while at the beach. I didn't feel like hamburgers and pizza. I ordered the falafel wrap, hummus, and dolmathes. The dolmathes are delicious! The falafel is great. All the ingredients were tasty and delicious. Finally the hummus, wow its a huge portion. I didn't expect it to be so big. It can definitely feed two people or more. Just order an extra bread incase you plan to share after reading this review.

One of my fav shawarma places in town!

The staff is great but the food gave me a really bad stomach infection! I wonder why a simple salad that costed $18 ended up being so bad in quality.

Today me and my family decided to go to Al basha and when we went the place was clean and nice . This place is also halal.But when we ordered the staff was really rude and didn’t smile . After that we ordered and picked up the food they would not give us boxes at first and didn’t cut the food . But when with other Arabic speaking people arrived the staff smiled and was nice . I really felt insulted . Also the food is not a wow . It’s okay and I have definitely eaten better shawarmas . The time for the food wait is like 10 minutes. Please be nice to everyone .In conclusion I won’t be coming back.
