From the waiting to be seated and getting the food was very unpleasant experience. It took a while for someone to let us in, no one showed any interest. Then to place the order, we had prompt a few servers. After another long wait and multiple attempts to alert the staff for the food being delayed we were told they lost the order. It seems that the person who took our orders was the manager. We were staying in the hotel le soleil and we noticed the hotel staff about our experience...

Honestly went to this place on a whim. I was craving escargot after work and just googled escargot near me and this was the nearest place — but I left so happy and already have a reservation to try their main dishes!!

Honestly I would’ve wanted the escargot served with the shells. But that’s ok. I was happy.

This restaurant is located on Hornsby St, in the Hotel Le Soleil. It's a very beautiful space with high ceilings, wood flooring, and a very interesting light fixture over the center of the space. I got there just after it opened so it was empty. Chloe was my server. I started with a double Monkey 47 gin and tonic ($28.50CAD), and ordered Bone Marrow ($24), and Duck Cassoulet with foie gras ($59).
