We had the Keema Prata, Burmese Style Biryani & Beef Lemongrass Curry. All of these were incredible tasty, rich in taste, just the right amount of spicy yet surprisingly light. The spices complemented each other and contrasted the meatiness of these dishes. Service was wonderful, very friendly people. The store was decently decorated and very clean. I will certainly be back when I’m in town again.

We shared the Myanmar Tea Leaf Salad which was good, but not great. It was quite tea flavor. I had the Laksa with Chicken only and vermicelli and yellow wheat noodles, it was spicy and tasty. My wife had the Kebat with Chicken, it was minimally spicy and good. Service was good.

Good prices, very authentic and flavourful, love their Laksa and Prata Roti! Even ordered an extra side of rice to compliment everything ?

Homey little place to try authentic Burmese comfort food alongside other Southeast Asian dishes especially on a rainy Vancouver day. Must try the fish soup, tea salad (ask for steamed rice), prata, and #44 chicken dish. The prata is sooo tender, chewy and flaky. Perfect for the faint hearted who want tasty fusion flavours without the spicy chilli.

Cozy little restaurant, very hospitable staff, and delicious food! I had the beef rendang, which was my first time trying it, and it was like eating comfort food! Perfect for the rainy night that it was! The portion itself was literally perfect, as I wasn’t over full, as I usually would be with other restaurant meals!

I didn't really know what type of food Burmese had so I haven't really gone here before. It turns out they have a mix of malay, singapore, indian, thai cuisines and some burmese specialties. We went for our favorite dishes beef rendang, pad thai, and prata (like roti canai).Beef rendang - wow the flavors are so deep. You realize how much other places have watered down their sauce. This has to be the best beef rendang I have ever tasted (#1 being my Malay friend's family recipe)Pad Thai - also one of the best I have ever tasted, even compared to in Thailand. It was full of tamarind flavor and more saucy.Prata with chicken - definitely very flaky and better than a lot of so called malaysian/singaporean restaurants out there. I would say it is close to the roti canai from Shiok (which is exactly like the ones I had in Malaysia). The dip is a little different - less curry flavor but more onion-y flavor. The best best thing about this place is the price to quality. $12-13 for pad thai or beef rendang and #1 taste. On top of that, the waitress is very sweet and careful. She places our dishes gently so that it doesn't make a big noise. I will definitely come here more often. This is my new go to place.

The first time I try the Burmese Cuisine, the taste is great of more than I expected, the curry is just perfect, so much spices inside but not hot & spicy, of course the service is great too.I sure will come back to try the different dishes.

Authentic Burmese, delicious and home-cooked -- highly recommend. Had the chicken curry which was like a chicken afritada for Filipinos. The rice portions were generous. The biryani was well enjoyed by my friend. The samosas and tea leaf salad were enjoyable. The service was friendly and efficient. Great space for birthdays, dates, catch ups. Thank you!

Everything we ordered was really fresh and flavorful. The soups were great and the Tea Leaf salad is a must try! I’d definitely recommend it.

I super love this inviting Burmese eatery, with nostalgic paintings. It feels very retro, a blast from the past, and like a safe Southeast Asian haven <3 I like how it's very affordable and more a hole-in-the-wall kinda place. They definitely do not skimp out on the quality of the ingredients.Food always comes in such a comforting way.- The portion is generous, and they taste, the texture, the colour, the smell, and also the visual itself. It's presented well with simplicity.I've heard that the owner is Burmese, and while I cannot attest to its authenticity, I love the diverse flavours and simple and clean taste :) Brought a group of friends from Seattle here, who are avid foodies, and I'm glad to say they truly enjoyed it.Notable dishes (according to the opinions of family, friends and myself):- Tea Leaf Salad (definitely an acquired taste, but if you like it, you like it)- Laksa (great broth)- Beef Rendang (earthy and warm)- Roti Prata (it tastes fresh, and has the options of steamed yellow peas which i really enjoyed as it's unique, potato curry or a creamy egg spread)- Braised eggplant (so tender, yum)

I had the fish noodle soup and the tea leaf salad. The soup was very tasty, savory, lots of lemongrass. Comes with a boiled egg. I wish maybe that the noodles were a little longer and more substantial but that's a minor quibble. The tea leaf salad has a unique tangy and complex slightly bitter flavour with lots of crunchy bits. I would say it serves two though. I'm packing the other half of mine to go for lunch tomorrow. The restaurant has a calm, understated atmosphere. All around a great place to eat.

So glad that I made the decision to go out of the way to visit this place on the last day of our trip to Vancouver. Everything we tried was delicious and the portions good. The tea leaf salad is very unique. The biriyani is excellent, reminded me of Malabar style biriyani. Service is attentive and efficient.
