My wife and I discovered Angus T Bakery on Instagram and made plans to drive into Vancouver from White Rock to treat ourselves over the weekend. Sadly the server who attended to us, seemed to want to be anywhere but the bakery and did not share our enthusiasm and good cheer. She was very stoic and not friendly at all. She spoke few words and seemed annoyed by the flow of customers. Instantly she made us feel like it was a wasted trip and we’d much rather turn around and leave. Despite her rude behaviour, we purchased what we had come for, but we definitely won’t be back. It’s sad when a business enjoys popularity and success that friendly service and customer appreciation goes out the window. Very Disappointed ☹️ 🥐

I wish the filling inside the croissant matched the decoration on top. I ordered a Hazelnut-Chocolate one because I was craving a buttery filling, but it was just chocolate inside. It was tasty, but not what I expected based on its appearance
I don't know if I'm just unlucky but I went there twice now and each time the croissants tasted old and bland. The first time, I tired the black sesame flavour and it was mid at best, the croissant had an alright texture but the filling just tasted sweet and not like black sesame at all. The second time, I tried the raspberry pistachio one, the jam is tasty, but I couldn't taste any pistachios and the croissant had the texture of a day old costco croissant. I went around noon, so not too late during the day. Maybe I gotta try the almond baked one, won't be stale at least. The service is nice though!

The fruit croissants are tasty at Angus T. Also the Matcha is also a favorite.

The cappuccino is really good. I had the earl grey croissant, which was also good, but I wasn’t crazy about the consistency of the earl grey filling. The cinnamon bun unfortunately was quite dry and mediocre.

Come here regularly. Their croissants are great, but they need to find a way to keep them warm and crispy. If you come at an odd hour, sometimes you get the coldest, soggiest croissant ever, like what just happened to me. The guy before me got ones fresh off the oven rack, but I got the ones from the counter. It feels like they’ve been sitting there all morning
I’d even be willing to pay extra for a fresh baked option, just have that as a choice. Also, they don’t have boxes for 2 anymore, if you buy fewer than 4, they’ll just give you a bunch of bags
That said, their stuff is still great. If you’re new to the area, definitely give them a try, you’ll fall in love

Rude staff. The matcha croissant I had was really good but the service is horrible.

After my dental appointment (irony here) I walked past and made a mental note next time I was downtown I’d try their stunning looking croissants.
I did just that. I bought the Pistachio-Raspberry croissant. It was beyond excellent! It was so good, I wish I had bought more than just one!
The croissant is expertly crafted, the combination of flavours sublime and not sickly sweet as things are in North America. Super light buttery croissant and I cannot wait to return to Angus T Bakery Cafe.

The raspberry pistachio croissant is the best croissant I’ve ever eaten. And the barista Anita is so nice! We really enjoyed a good morning there. ❤️
