Great service and atmosphere. Loved the food we got and how many thoughtful AND delicious vegetarian options. Crispy spring rolls were excellent, okra skewer was a darkhorse and you can never go wrong with a plate of fried noodles. Thanks Anh and Chi!

INSECTS in lettuces we ordered Bánh Xèo – Turmeric Crêpe. The waiter gladly crossed it off on our receipt so we didn't pay for it, but didn't even acknowledge about the issue. Felt as if the waiter thought simply crossing the item off from our receipt was enough for us to enjoy our lunch..Kinda disgusting how we had to see two insects were chewing on the lettuce while enjoying our meal. Hope I didn't eat any other insects without knowing.
Went there for my birthday with my family of 4 and my best friend’s family of 4. First off, we could not afford to make reservations because it required a donation of $10 per person and adding $80 to our meal was not an option. So we chanced it, even with 4 children in tow. We ordered many dishes, however, one dish came with a hair in it. We sent it back, the manager took it off our bill and apologized profusely. When the bill came there was a bit of a fight for the bill with me losing. So my friend’s boyfriend paid quickly and tipped a fair amount. About an hour after we left, they looked more closely at the bill (well over $300) and noticed that they did not take off the item with the hair. Further, they automatically added 18% tip for a large party and the server did not inform them of the fact. So they accepted a tip of over $100 for a $300 meal with a hair in it. My friend had to go back to the restaurant to have the bill corrected. This was the last time we will ever eat there again. On a side note, the food was good, but way overpriced.

Absolutely delighted with my experience at this Vietnamese restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a beautiful interior that set the tone for an exquisite dining experience. The food was exceptional, boasting authentic flavors that transported me back to Vietnam. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Overall, a fantastic dining destination that I would highly recommend to anyone seeking an authentic Vietnamese culinary adventure.
There was always a line, so I went around opening time. The staff, especially the staff at the bar, were very friendly! The food was delicious too! It's a little more expensive than other Vietnamese restaurants, but I think it's worth considering.

Upscale Vietnamese restaurant. Influenced more towards northern Vietnam but still very delicious. Service was very friendly and checked up on you frequently. Would come back.

It is absolutley insane for a Michelin star restaurant to offer “gluten free” items on the menu then give the condition that some items (or most at dinner) are cross contaminated. I fully understand and appreciate that they are working with a smaller kitchen and do not have the facilities to make truly gluten free foods however I don’t think it should be labelled as such then. There are many people who scour online menus to find safe foods and restaurants and the GF symbol is a trusted and clear marker, by misusing it as such you have opened the door to unsafe practice at the Michelin level.

Located on the southern edge of Mount Pleasant, Anh and Chi is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant on Main St, which is becoming the Vancouver foodie’s favorite street thanks to neighbors Published, Toshi, Hawker’s Delight, Bob Likes Thai Food and Sun Sui Wah.Anh and Chi is a modern Vietnamese eatery that stays true to its roots. I ordered Number 37 with lemongrass chicken and char-grilled pork chop with jasmine rice, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and Mẹ’s chilli fish sauce. The succulent meat reminded me of my best experiences during my PhD days back in Toronto, the reference point for authentic Vietnamese food in Canada.Like its friendly competition The Lunch Lady, DD Mau and Do Chay, Anh and Chi also does Vietnamese twists on cocktails.

We ordered the DIY platter, beef noodle soup, tofu rolls and mango salad. This might be the best meal I’ve had in a really long time. Definitely order family style, it becomes extremely fun and satiating to share and roll rice paper rolls. The flavors are so well balanced, and not too heavy. The vibes of the restaurant were also immaculate. I highly highly recommend.
