Been here around 10 times. The sushi here is consistently fresh. The house roll might be one of the best in Vancouver, they use a chopped scallop inside and have tempura crunches. 8 pieces per order!

Drinking wise, it's one of the most economical places you can find in Vancouver. Opens late and the workers there (especially the owner) are extremely friendly.

We got full and drunk for about $30-40 pp. Overall, the value alone here is almost unbeatable.

I've been coming to Nikkyu for a few years now and it never disappoints, so stopping in last weekend felt like visiting old friends. The salmon aburi nigiri is honestly some of the best I've had in Vancouver, with that perfectly torched edge that I keep thinking about days later.
