Went to Anna's this morning at 945 am to find completely empty display cases.The shop worker says they haven't gotten their delivery but to come back in 30 minutes. The shop opens at 930am. Strange way to do business. Apparently this is normal, so why open.Then she asked if there was anything I was looking for, maybe it will come in the delivery. From the website, I chose the mini mousse cakes and was told they don't make them anymore. Update your websites.Opted not to wait for the delivery, unpacking & stocking of the display cases. Not worth the drive, will go elsewhere in the future.

Ordered a cake for yesterday, it was just a basic regular fruit cake. My first time ordering from Anna's and I noticed the fresh cream had a weird bitter after taste, the cake was a little dry too which was weird I don't think it was fresh and on top of that the cake started to fall apart when we cut into it. I was really sad.
Anna’s has been around for ages and the reason is that their pastries, cakes and buns are just so yummy! Not the overly sweet and heavy offerings at most western style bakeries, but the light, fresh and delightful Hong Kong style that just satisfies the palate. Another plus is that Starbucks and Bonjour Banh Mi are right next door - thus one can have a great Banh mi, coffee and dessert just by hanging around this block - nice!! I ordered a birthday cake in the morning and right on time at 2:30 it was ready for pick-up. Great staff who’s been there for years and who always seem to welcome you like an old friend each time one comes. And oh, if you’re around there at 5;00 pm, you can get 20% discount on your cakes/buns - thus ensuring that their product is fresh each day. Highly recommend!!
