A great value place for decent Banh Mi, but nothing that blew me away. The restaurant is compact and a little basic, but food was prepared quickly and served to me.The banh mi itself was quite cheap but the bread is so dry and the item I got didn't do much to add moisture. I think some of the other menu items would be more worth it.

Been coming to Ba-Le since I was a kid and love it just the same! Hard to find a satisfying meal in Vancouver for under $10 these days. My favourite for sure is the #5 Cold Cut Special ($7.25)! This is one of their most popular sandwiches for good reason.Recently tried their #11 Meatball Special ($7.75~) which is similar to the Cold Cut sandwich but with warm Viet-style meatballs (similar to a ground meat patty texture). Pretty tasty and will order this again if I'm pretty hungry!This location is super convenient located at the Fraser stop for the 99 B-Line bus to UBC. You can call in your order or order online for convenient pick up.Vegetarian options: Offer vegetarian and vegan options on the menu

We tried the vegetarian lemongrass chicken and the beef banh mi. The price was very reasonable for the size, and it was delicious and fresh.
I ordered from here almost everyday while visiting Canada. I wish I had something like this back home. The employees were straight to the point when ordering and getting the food done. Had to ask for my coffee order a few times till I finally got it but otherwise recommend.

A place to grab a quick bite of banh mi. They have rice and noodle bowls, banh mi sandwiches as well as desserts and beverages. The prices are fair and there are both counters and tables to eat your food at. Everything is put together as you order and you get your food within 10 minutes. For the banh mi, they ask whether you want it spicy, meaning whether you want jalapeño added. The grilled pork banh mi was simply but filling and there was a counter seat for one even. Right off by 99-B line bus stop.
