Awesome experience! Super friendly staff, the owner Regan was amazing. Was super drunk on my birthday and forgot my jacket, and the staff saved it until the next week when I could pick it up. Cheap beers and a super welcoming environment! I'll definitely be back here again <3

The black guy who was working on Saturday night (fireworks day), he took my card for security And what happened was HE TAP MY CARD WITHOUT TELLING ME ANYTHING AND PAY FOR SOMETHING I DONT EVEN KNOW. WOW. Don’t you think that’s illegal ? What a low things happened there. Explain me what was that money. It’s really unforgivable. Really. I just can’t believe there’s a human like your bartender exists. Super low.

Ping pong tables at $13/hour, service was excellent (bar tender was super friendly, sat down and chatted with my group), drinks were significantly cheaper than every surrounding bar, and they had a ton of board games. If you're bar hopping, this would be a very good spot to begin with -- especially with a big group.

The tables have limited space around them, but they do supply decent paddles and good ping pong balls. The disco lights can be a little distracting, but this place is more about having fun with your friends while playing ping pong and less about serious competition.
They could work on putting tables away when they aren’t being used. So, it could mean more space for the other ones. Personally, I would like more beers on tap, but I am not sure if others will have any concerns about it.
We went to play darts, after seeing dart boards in a photo in a google search of “darts Vancouver”. No darts there now, replaced by basketball hoops. Disappointed, we sat down to figure out where to go next and the bartender came over and made a couple of suggestions. Super nice of him, considering we weren’t staying for a drink. The ping pong was happening - 2 tables of foursomes having a blast. It’s got a gritty-fun vibe and looks like a fun place to go for a beer and some ping pong.And we did find darts at a place the bartender recommended - at The London Pub a couple of blocks away on Main St. (except it was UFC Nite). So we ended up at the Ivanhoe. Two empty boards there.

I absolutely love this place but every time I try to go it's always closed and I don't know why. I've asked before and they said that sometimes it's not as busy so they close early. The vibe in this place is amazing, tons of fun, great music. I usually tend to go alone or with friends.
