His recommendations were perfect, and he made sure we felt taken care of throughout the night. It's rare to find service this great—Javier is definitely a standout! Our group of nine made an advance reservation to celebrate a birthday at Bartholomew, which was one of our first stops for our evening of bar hopping. Bartholomew set a positive tone for our evening, quickly becoming one of my favorite bars that I have visited this year. In terms of ambiance and interior design, the layout was narrow but not uncomfortably cramped. The decor was aesthetically pleasing, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We were seated in the back two booths that allowed us to converse freely, without feeling as if we were being disruptive.
During our recent visit, the server introduced herself promptly and provided attentive service throughout the evening. The quality of the food and drinks was undoubtedly the highlight of our experience. We decided to share several dishes as a group, including the pork belly, bison tartare, BC sockeye salmon, bone marrow, and gnocchi. Each dish was delicious, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. We particularly recommend the bison tartare, which was the standout dish of the evening. Personally, I opted for the Cherry Blossom and Red Dress cocktails, both of which were refreshing and aligned perfectly with my preferences. To conclude the evening, we ordered the bone marrow crème brûlée. However, it did not meet our expectations as it was significantly fattier than anticipated.
Overall, it was a great drinking and dining experience, and I will definitely come back to try out other items and drinks.

One of my favorite places. Beautiful lounge with excellent cocktails and wine. Their charcuterie is fantastic and customizable. I really enjoy their prawn dish and their meatballs. Venezuela is a fantastic choice if you like a strong drink that is a little on the sweeter side. It's presented in a sealed smoked container which your server will open for you and woft the remaining smokey goodness to you and your cocktail. Magic!!

Our first time at Bartholomew and it didn’t disappoint. Loved the cozy atmosphere. Had two cocktails each…our bartender was meticulous as he made them. Can’t wait to go back and try some new ones. Enjoyed the bar snacks. The boards looked amazing and we will try them next time.
