They do not accept cash. People we need to boycott and business that does not accept cash. Time for the gov't to step in and make it illegal to refuse cash payment. Cards and other payments should be the option and not the standard. Won't return. Boycott these businesses before it's too late.

A lovely little coffee shop within the hospital radius. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere is great for studying/meeting people.Mocha frappe was pretty okay, a bit watery in my opinion, but I thought $7.35 was a bit steep for one drink.Overall worth to stop by and get a bite or drink if you’re in the area but it is a bit pricy.

Food and drinks taste great but are unfortunately quite expensive compared to other places of the same caliber. The chocolate babka I got tasted really good but after asking them to warm it up, it tasted a little bit like toaster oven. Other than that, the ambiance is really nice and the staff is very friendly.

Quite simply, the business is obviously happy with huge profits and does not want or need customers who wish to pay with cash. Very discriminatory. They join Terra Breads and others who are thriving and make it clear, cash customers are unwelcome. Many alternatives out there including Starbucks.

Great place and super friendly staff!Little know fact I found out: Pastries and food items are unique to each "Bean around the world" locations as they are made/ordered by separate franchise owners: I find that this location has the best pastries and sandwiches of all the BATW in town. Major Props to the owner and staff!

Amazing place near the hospital. It has a bunch of plants and good music, free WiFi so you can work there having the best coffee, highly recommend dark roast. Fresh pastries and sandwiches, and the staff is super nice and kind. I had a nice breakfast there. Thanks!!!Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian and vegan burritos. Also cookies and pastries.

This Bean Around the World by VGH is on the small side and there aren’t as many food options as the other locations I’ve been to, but what they have is still really good. I got a tofu and chickpea wrap, a quinoa date square, and a beetroot ginger latte - all vegan, not really on purpose, but it’s great that they have vegan choices. I have only good things to say about everything - it was all very tasty and unique. The wrap was satisfying and perfectly grilled, the date square had an awesome melt-in-the-mouth texture, and the addition of ginger to the beetroot latte worked really well. It’s just a little on the expensive side, but I think the prices are pretty comparable to other places that serve food of this quality, which is unfortunate, but that’s more of a reflection on the current economy than their choices when everywhere is expensive. The barista was super friendly and the service was quick. The interior has a cozy rustic look and there’s a patio seating available. Very nice place!

I was waiting in line had some cash in my hand to pay .got to counter.said "hello".Guy looks at me "we don't take cash" no hello or "sorry but" I have debit/credit.If a business can afford to turn customers away because they choose to pay in Canadian currency which is still (leagal tender) in this country).then I'll go somewhere else .
