well the place is good, but I drive from Langley to work at the Granville location just to find the coffee shop was closed for maintenance. No hours were updated in their listing or online 👍🏼

Super friendly and chill baristas. BAtW continues to be my favourite coffee chain.

My daughter simply wanted a small iced milk/oat coffee with lavender flavor the cost showed $3.36 on the black board for small cup. They confused her and me with questions on you want Americano or coffee she repeated what she wanted but they said Americano comes with lavender. She was unable to understand fully yet went ahead and said ok. We ended up paying over $5 because they said she asked for lavender and it wasn't even a milk drink just water and she didn't taste at all the lavender in it. We felt we were simply ripped off. Sigh!

Service was ice-cold, cappuccino was lukewarm. Apple strudel had a few bits of apples and was stuffed with raisins. Of course, no offer to warm it up. Such an uninviting place.

"I tried their new menu item, the 'Blue Chamomile Latte.' It was the worst latte I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your money. One of the staff members told me they use tea bags, but there were no tea bags. Instead, they used brewed tea water with milk. It was a terrible blend—like watery milk 🤮. The barista was rude and didn’t seem to care. Once you pay, that's it. I used to be a regular customer, but not anymore."

Great store. Great coffee.
Been here for a few times. It looks like all the staff are very friendly and nice to customers, except Asian customers. It’s giving Racist vibes. Uncool.

this has become my favorite cafe so far, I've had the best Americano and hot chocolate here! it's safe to say that the quality is top-notch. I also love the cozy atmosphere and the chill vibes. definitely would recommend.

I often come here for soup, especially during the colder months, but I've been disappointed at times. The portion size can be inconsistent—sometimes the container is nearly full (90-100%), while other times, it's only about 70% filled. I just wish the portions were consistent. I wish this could bring it to their awareness since it turned me down from buying soup there again.

Our first visit and likely our last, but not necessarily because of the food.
My guest ordered the grilled cheese sandwich, which by all accounts was done as expected: toasted on what appeared to be freshly made bread. So far, so good.
I ordered the Reuben sandwich. I received a toasted faux Reuben: corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and... mustard. Not realizing this and assuming that the sandwich would have Thousand Island dressing, I asked if I could get some mustard on the side for dipping. The response: "We're not allowed to ask the kitchen for anything." Hmmm, okay...??
As for drinks, my guest ordered a cappuccino, which by all accounts didn't appear to be a cappuccino, but tasted okay nonetheless.
I had a medium roast coffee, which I was able to drink as presented...no dairy or sweeteners, and I liked it...so there's that.
Lastly, as other reviewers have noted, this location is narrow, which means you can get pretty close to other guests. We had the pleasure of being joined by a gentleman who clearly enjoyed picking and eating his nails versus the food offerings. So, if you decide to stay for your beverage or food consumption, choose your seating location wisely...you never know what unexpected morsels may land near your plate.

Usually love the chai at the UBC location but was very disappointed here. Too milky and not sweet at all.

Not a bad place for a coffee, they use the same beans here to brew as my favorite coffee place back home so it's like having the same coffee at a different place!
