The beavertails taste great, especially Poutail. My daughter likes them.
However as a food truck they really need to update their ordering and food preparing process. It’s way too slow.
The cashier just takes orders and then stand there doing nothing. Only one staff is in charge of preparing food and very slow.
Even though the food is great, I don’t think it worth the wait.

Canada’s must-eat local desserts
The original store is located in Bywart Market, Ottawa
Shaped like a beaver's tail
So the English literal translation is BeaverTails
I found on the Internet that in addition to the North American market, you can also eat it in Japan.
Knead the dough into a flat shape and then fry it
After frying, spread various flavors of jam on the hot pancakes
More than 10 flavor options
Cinnamon sugar powder, chocolate banana, strawberry cake, etc.
Original Classic
This one has just the right amount of sweetness for me. It’s sprinkled with cinnamon powder and syrup. People who love cinnamon rolls will also like it. The crust itself is slightly sweet, and the texture is similar to scallion pancakes, but with a sweet taste.
Apple pie Apple pie
The whole slice is smeared, the sauce is not soft at all, and you can eat apple chunks. Although you can eat the sauce in every bite, the sauce is too sweet and you can't finish it by yourself (unless you are a sugar lover)

Ordered the strawberry cheesecake. Donut was chewy but flavor was good.

Owner doesn’t update their location on their website. Blames the customer. Don’t bother spending your money here.

Normally I love beaver tails but this location is really bad. The employees were standing around stretching the dough for an excessively long time and it made them come out paper thin in the middle. On top of that, they over cooked them in the fryer so they were very hard. I got two and they both looked like the pictures. Extremely disappointed in the quality of this location.
The food was good. It was OK. I didn’t actually try it but I saw it and it smelled pretty good so that’s probably a good thing. I don’t know exactly where this is but I think it’s at three nights and I didn’t have that good of a time there because it was very scary. I covid clowns jump at me inside a carnival but yeah besides that I assume the Beavertail is pretty good because it’s very popular but yeah.
opening hours are wrong:(

I am no expert in the tail but these are crispy and great toppings. Be sure to get one and kids seem to really love them.

They have a Poutail here which is a poutine served on a beavertail. The concept is cool but the fries were served lukewarm, the cheese curds were cold and not melted, and overall everything tasted on the greasy/oily side. But then again, it's from a carnival truck at the PNE so I guess you can't expect much more?
It was good but pricey. Late post, we ordered last April 2022.
Highly recommend the one with Oreo, Nutella and white chocolate! My favourite one.
Its important to know that this is located inside the playland. Also the opening hours are not correct.Very unfortunate
