I had the udon with beef brisket and egg swirls. The udon texture and taste was great, but the beef brisket's strong flavour over powered it.Next time I will order the tempura wakame udon for the clear broth.I also ordered the salmon roe inari sushi, unfortunately the inari bean curd skin was too sweet and over powered the salmon roe.
Absolutely yummy and it is the most authentic udon you can find in Vancouver. I can confidently repeat that after I tried Marugame udon that just opened downtown. This udon has Koshi(chewiness) that I love. Avoid marugame and go to this place!!

This place is definitely a gem. Have been meaning to try this place for a while, but OMG! It's not a fancy place, but food is outstanding. Prices were very reasonable. Service was great ?! Entire Japanese staff, so it's quite authentic. Parking was easy, there was parking right up front. I would definitely go back to try other stuff.
