We came on a Thursday at 11:45am. I ordered the shio mazemen. We got the smallest portion and I felt like it was just enough. The beef I felt like could have been more tender and more flavourful. It was a bit too chewy for me.The noodles were just cooked to al dente. I liked that there were garlic chips at the table for you to add and also Chilli oil.The garlic chips could have been crisper. Felt like the whole thing was a bit dry as the beef was dry and so were the noodles. The noodles come with a side bowl of soup for you to drinkOverall for the price and location I think it's an okay option but it wouldn't be my number one option for Ramen. If you are looking for something different then it's worth a try

The roast beef ramen is delicious! I recommend the creamy and the potato salad. The potato salad sounds really simple but they really elevated the flavour using the beef. I love how innovative this restaurant is.

Food was actually good we both loved it, i got the truffle noodles was very tasty , the pieces of meat my food had was too small and nothing, like wasnt worth the price , very thin i was surprised but the tastes was good , on the other side the other food was good and had more slices of meat in it which makes more sense, picture may not show it as it was but substantially the truffle noodle almost had no meat ,i will go back to try it again as the taste was good, unfortunately our server wasn’t welcoming neither the other lady working there looked so sharp and fast and happy and helped our table too even tho our waitress was someone else , she wouldn’t even bring an extra plate to share the appies we got and when i asked for plate she was surprised people share appies together the may not want to eat in one plate all together, appi was soo good too! Taste in general was great thanks to chef, cozy place to walk in to and have tasty food, portion was normal towards small than big , worth trying it

We got both dry noodles and in soup. Heavy and a bit oily if you’re not expecting for that. Nice option of becoming member to get free ice

So I've been to Beest twice. The first time I messed up and put the soup into the noodles and it tasted bland. I then found out I'm not supposed to put the soup in the noodles so the next time I went there, I didn't add the soup and I must say it was VERY good! I'm now craving Beest beef ramen, and will be coming back with family next week. I also love how they give you ice cream after the meal. The staff was super friendly too! I highly recommend Beest for a casual night out.Update March 2024: After visiting Beest Mazemen at least half a dozen times, I can confidently say that the quality of the food has consistently been top-notch. Out of the various mazesoba places in Vancouver, Beest stands out as the best in terms of quality and service. As part of their VIP program (which is free to join), we receive extra noodles, beef, and ice cream at no extra charge. It's honestly a fantastic and affordable date option!

《? ROAST BEEF RAMEN ?》- spicy miso ramen = $21.80 -- shoyu ramen = $19.80 -Roast beef in ramen ? is definitely a combination I have never considered before, but it kinda works?Beest offers a selection of ramen and mazemen (dipping noodles) with a variety of toppings and broths. If you order off of their special menu, they even offer truffle and uni ?I've been to Beest twice now and I feel like it's an acquired taste. On my first visit, I ordered the mazemen and I felt like the chewier texture of the roast beef didn't pair well with the noodles. ? When I ordered it with the spicy miso ramen, it was better! I think having the beef submerged in their rich miso broth helped add more flavour to the meat and softened it also. I think I'm just too used to a traditional bowl of ramen with the fatty chasiu...

Based on a lot of good reviews plus the photos of the noodle bowl look unique compared to other places, so I decided to try it out at lunch!Went there on a rainy day around 1pm, no line up, only a few tables were occupied.I got my seat quickly and the waitress was friendly and welcoming. I got informed right away about signing up for the loyalty program which I will receive an upsize 200g noodles (+$1 on the menu) and a free small soft serve. I signed up and got the benefits. Some reviews say shio mazemen is plain so I decided to go for shoyu mazemen. Opposite to noodle soup, mazemen is a bowl of dry noodles with roasted beef on top.It came with a small bowl of soup. It tasted like beef broth but I was unsure. The soup was light but had a light layer of oil on top. In the beginning I thought it was for the noodle, like two-ways eat the noodle bowl, but the waitress told me it was for drinking. The noodles came hot, they were chewy and flavourful, but the big taste differences made the roasted beef plain and tasteless. The roasted beef was tender but was at room temperature, they came with the right amount of thickness.Coming to the end, the noodle was quite salty and greasy. I ended up adding some soup to dilute it.In my opinion, the taste and the temperature made it unbalanced. It also came with additional garlic chips which you can add with your own desire. The price is reasonable for the portion of noodles and the pieces of beef. Also free ice cream at the end :)Overall, I would come back to try out types/flavours such as ramen and maybe shio.

Seen it on TikTok and thought it looked good. The staff was very nice and the ambiance was cute with hip music but the food was just okay. I got the Spicy Miso and my friend got the Creamy Beef (broth was on the side)

Really good beef ramen. The meat was delicious. It was also super nice that they close late, we could have dinner while avoiding usual dinner rush. Service was also super fast. I recommend.

The ramen was good! Would definitely come again. We ordered the Shiyo Ramen bowl and the mazemen beef bowl. The Mazemen is a dry ramen with a soup on the side. I quite enjoyed the bowl and the beef was incredibly juicy. It didn’t make the 5 star list because there wasn’t anything too spectacular about the taste and the music is non stop rap and trap, which might appeal to the crowd but it gets a little repetitive after a while. Overall would eat here again!
