A very cozy and welcoming café. The place is clean, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great. The staff are extremely polite and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area.
We recently went back to Bella Gelateria after some time, as we used to love it. We visited the Robson location and tested some samples and ordered one scoop each. The lady working there was not friendly at all, and it felt like we were inconveniencing her. There was no music playing while we were there which made for a bit of an awkward and uninviting space. There were a few other people sitting inside but it was a beautiful sunny warm evening so we wanted to sit outside. Unfortunately, there was no outdoor furniture so we just stood in the patio area to enjoy our gelato.
Afterwards, we were walking half a block down Robson and noticed another gelateria called D’Oro Gelato. They were playing lively Italian music which we could hear from the street and had tables and chairs set up outside. The atmosphere was exactly what we had hoped for.
Overall, for the cost of the gelato at Bella Gelateria and lack of service and ambiance, we won’t be going back. It’s a shame because at one time, they were the top spot.

Stunning gelato. Beautiful Middle eastern flavours in this one, thick, creamy and balanced. Staff are lovely too.

I saw a poster on their wall that said they won best Gelato in Vancouver or something and I'm going to have to agree this place has some quality gelto.
