I love having a non gentrified, reasonably priced place with great food and amazing service for get togethers and catch ups within walking distance of my neighbourhood. Johnny’s fits all of those aspects for me

Driving back to Surrey from VGH and wanted to grab a quick bite. Randomly we picked this restaurant to dine at. What an absolute win! The history, the atmosphere and the food were fantastic! The Owner even came out and introduced himself! It was lovely… will totally be back with the rest of the family to enjoy more food !

Met a friend here for dinner before going to the Festival of Lights at VanDusen Gardens and we both were surprised by how good our meals were. I had the spanokopita dinner, while my friend had the souvlaki dinner. The portions were certainly generous and tasty. The service was attentive in a cozy modern dining area. We both want to go back there. Highly recommend.

Ordered the Wagyu Ragu delivery. Gross. The beef is likely not Australian wagyu… I can probably guess this if they cant take the time to get the noodles correct. Do better. For $27.50 for this I’d expect to get what was advertised not some penne with walmart beef.

Ordered, waited over an hour and no food showed up :( Called and they said they didn’t get the order, but I had a confirmation email. Wanted to make the order then but kids and I were starving so just cancelled. Can’t rate the food as I never got to try it, too bad. Hopefully they fix the ordering system.
