Pleasant service. Large portions. Served hot. Parking available on Oak St. Reasonable prices.
Great steak, super friendly staff. Loved it!
Best pizza place 🔥
Must try if you never had good pizza!
Last time I ordered a pizza and pasta over a year ago, I loved everything I got. Rich good quality mozz cheese that leaves every bite with a mouthwatering cheese pull.
Today I received via delivery a very average burnt pizza that is not sitting well in my stomach as I type this.

Delicious food and -despite two large groups - a great service.
We visited from out of town, not really knowing the restaurant.
Very good food, reasonable and amazing service.
We got free baklava as dessert what we well received it.
The restaurant was full, so it seems locals liked it as much as we did. Try the lamb it was delicious!
Johnny’s (formerly Best Neighbors) is a long Vancouver mainstay since 1985. I just had some succulent delicious meatballs that are far superior to those from a prominent restaurant in a well known hotel downtown. Support Canada, support local highly recommend!!
Recently all the pizzas my friend and I ordered, were burnt and very very salty, with waaaay less materials! You get beef but there is no beef in it!

Good pizza but over $100 for two large pizzas
Best pizza crust. Their pizza reminds me of the pizzas back in the 70's and 80's when there were pizza restaurants all over town. They're slowly fading away. And I have to say, making pizza's like this has become a lost art that the younger generations don't know how to appreciate. This place is basically the same but better. Neighbours restaurant version 2.0. Johnny's is a place I will have to come visit more often even though it's another town away from where I live. Good hearty lunch and my Boomer mum liked her old fashioned baked pasta. My brother commented how great the pizza crust was. Kinda wish I was single and lived in the area again. Oh, and loved the Caesar salad.
I have lived across the street from Johnny's for years and absolutely love this spot! Service and food are always fantastic! Happy to call this place my local.
Really fresh, authentic, and delicious food. Service was prompt and friendly. Space was really well decorated- highly recommend!
Johnny's (I still call them Best Neighbours cuz they are simply the Best), is a neighbourhood mainstay. I've been enjoying Johnny's for over 17 years, most often for take-out but periodically dine-in. I recently went to Johnny's for a family birthday with 8 of us. Johnny and Connie are the most gracious of hosts. I love how they interact with their guests. It really is a family business. Connie had their little girl placing menus and greeting people when we dined-in. It was so cute!
Johnny's food is tasty and consistently prepared well. It comes from a long family tradition starting with his parents back in the early 80s. Johhny's pizza is second to none in this community. Their main dishes such as their souvlaki, mousaka, roasted lamb, and baked lasagna are to die for. Their prices are comparable to similar style restaurants. If you want to watch a game on the bar tv screens, this place offers a great vibe with friendly servers, like Andrea. Happy hour is very reasonable and there is a good offering of food and drink.
Overall, I rate Johnny's as one of Vancouver's most tasty long-standing restaurants (2nd generation). I offer the strongest of recommendations for Johnny's.
