This place was amazing, me and my family grown up eating Greek food and I have to say they had the best kalamari I have ever tried. Everything else was amazing too, zucchini sticks and lamb roast was great. Everyone felt very comfy and welcoming and the owner was very sweet, to double that the restaurant was very cute, aesthetic and clean. I highly recommend

Had a nice Roast Lamb platter for lunch, with kalamari and zucchini wedges. Everything was nicely cooked and delicious. The restaurant has a nice bar as well 😊

I used the restaurant’s online ordering platform after business hours and scheduled a pickup for our supper. I arrived there but no food as my order was not received. Connie took charge of the issue and offered to deliver our pizza AND a discount! Received our order and included complimentary pop!
What a service! No fuss just excellent neighbourhood restaurant who cares about their business and their customers! Can’t wait to try their other food!
By the way, the online ordering platform is being investigated by the business to determine what happened to my order. It’s definitely not the business’ fault for missing my order but they made it right and now I am hoping you all try this place!
Food rating - our pizza was so good! Extra sauce and not salty at all! The crust was crispy - pan pizza!

I go there for the Johnny's Special pizza, old school, my absolute favorite! Reminds me of the pizza growing up in East Vancouver. Don't get me wrong, the rest of their dishes are also amazing, I have tried many of them! Pricing is on par, comfy atmosphere and friendly staff! It gets busy so you might have to wait a bit, but well worth it! Give it a try, I know you'll go back!

Me and my partner are from out of town, we were looking for a place close to where we were staying to celebrate out 2 year anniversary. Ive got to say the universe on our side today. Hands down best Kalamari we have had the pleasure of trying, so tender and amazing. She had a 7 oz steak and gets it a specific way that tends to get messed up, not here. It was perfection. The waitress was extremely considerate from telling us the food would be cooked fast so they can wait on putting it on while we ate our appetizer. Super good with our 1 year old daughter. I ordered a cheese cake to go, she offered to pack up all our food so we didnt have to and mentioned that the whipped cream could get runny if not eaten right away, she was considerare that we have a lovely experience!

I was actually stopping to get Chinese Food next door but they weren't open so I popped into Johnny's instead. Took a little while...but good food takes time. Heading home with the order on my passenger seat - the aroma wafting from the goody bag was too much too bear. I ripped open a bag & scarfed down a garlic toast. Yummmy. Taste just like the good old days. When I got home my BF & I dove right in. We ordered the baked tortellini, plus the baked spaghetti & chicken parmesan. Oh oh oo ah- yum. If you remember that taste of late night Greek/ Italian Trattoria's that used to operate back in the 90's you'll know what I'm oooh-ing and awwhhhhing about. Something about Johnny's - that flavour takes me right back there... & puts a huge smile on my face. Good job guys! And the Server/ Bartender gal was easy going & nice to chat to too (while I was waiting). Gracias! Thank you!

The Calamari was excellent. Extremely crispy as though it was deep fried twice but tender. The Wagyu ragu pasta was excellent! Very flavourful. Wish there was a little bit more veggies in it though.

I ordered a large BN special for takeout, and it was the best pizza I have tasted in years! It was as delicious! I am so glad I tried pizza at this restaurant again after moving away from the neighborhood about 25 years ago. I highly recommend this place.
