Our neighborhood fav! The bread is something special (so good) coffee is also great. Cozy, friendly vibes. My only personal gripe is that they've stopped making the pumpkin muffins...why?! Please bring them back! (I'll visit way more often). But you still deserve 5 stars for everything else ;)

I went today for my annual stollen - it is amazing. AMAZING !!! Yes a little pricy but it is worth it. You will not find a better stollen anywhere in Vancouver.

Amazing bread and insane coffee

Food is delicious and coffee is fresh. staff are very friendly. Add these up to an awesome location.

After about 24 hours the crust on the bread is so hard that it’s hard to cut with a knife and scary to eat for fear of breaking a tooth. I will not buy bread here again.

It was a prompt quick visit because I needed to buy French bread or baguette for a potluck lunch, I searched the bakery in the Kitsilano area and found good reviews. So I bought them, they're so fresh from the oven they smell so nice and taste so delicious I could eat the whole baguette myself with a slice of butter. A small bakery with healthy ingredients I heard. A little crowded, but maybe because people love it. We need to support local businesses like this. Next time I will try the croissant etc.

Was very pleasantly surprised by the pumpkin spice latte - definitely tastes quality. The bread is quite showy but pricey, so it would probably be great for bringing to events but maybe not as cost effective as a habit. Service was very fast and pleasant. Very small detraction was the size, as it was a bit small with limited room, but I really appreciated that they had a customer bench outside so you can sit with your drink and wait for the bus. I wish more businesses would do this as it's very nice for transit goers!

Fantastic bakery with delicious options and a cozy atmosphere! Beyond Bread on 4th Ave is my go-to spot for fresh baked goods and a perfect cup of coffee. Their bread is always baked to perfection, with a great variety of choices ranging from hearty sourdough to delicate pastries.

I didn't rate atmosphere because I only go there to pick up bread.

Best bread we had tried in a long time. Baguettes are excellent and so it's the rest of the bread that 8 have bought. I usually order online for pick up, it's much better to order like this at least for me. I usually get 2 baguettes and 2 types of bread, freeze and use when we finish one of the loaves and a baguette.

Visited before 3pm. There were many regulars and the staff were friendly. There wasn't much bread left as it was almost closing time. If you have bread you want to eat, we recommend going in the morning.
This time I ordered pain au chocolat and Americano inside the store. The coffee was strong and had a strong espresso taste. Some people were using it as a study or work space, but the space is not that large.
It is also possible to pre-order, so I would like to purchase it there next time.

This place STILL has the absolute best butter croissant in all of Vancouver.
Been coming here for 10 years now and I am never disappointed whatever I choose. The bread and coffee are also outstanding but it’s quite hard to master a croissant consistently.
