Excellent service, relaxed ambience, and amazing food! What more could one ask for?
This is a wonderful restaurant. It has become the only place we want to go for special occasions. Obviously the food is second to none, but you also get a top notch dining experience like you never seem to get in Canada. Every dish has a story, and you get the sense that the people working there love the food, love the wine, love the neighbourhood, and love what they do. I don’t know how this place stays so underrated. It’s amazing.
If you want unique seemingly authentic (I am no expert) but definitely tasty Italian food, this is it. Our table of 3 ordered the Family course that have many courses. Although there was nothing we did not like, the fried octopus and the duck breast dishes were exceptional. Coulda eaten triple the portions of these. The pistachio mortadella is a surprising delight, and the carrot cake is light and fluffy, providing a perfect ending to a memorable meal.
