Amazing food, staff, and environment. Overall great place!

Had been here pre-COVID and enjoyed it. Now, not so much. They didn't have our reservation (they don't have a digital system), were out of the Cab Sav we wanted and only two of four beers available, plus no lamb dishes available. When they brought the wine they only brought two glasses for three people and eventually brought a tumbler for the third after having to ask three times.Food itself was ok at best, overall. And then the mouse showed up, in the dining area.Throughout, including the mouse situation, staff didn't really seem to care. With so many restaurants in Vancouver, this is one to avoid if you want to be certain of a good experience.

Our experience here was so awful it was comical. First, they had no record of our reservation, so they scrambled to put together a table. Then they didn’t have the wine we selected or one of the dishes we ordered (big delays on everything, too). They didn’t even have enough wine glasses for the three of us who wanted wine (which was when it started getting comical). The food that did come was so-so and one of the dishes didn’t arrive until after we finished eating. When did it turn really funny? When we spotted the mouse running around the table right behind us. What a gong show. Even after we complained (we let it all slide until the mouse showed up) it took forever to get our bill. Oh yes - and the washroom had no toilet paper. They took the wine and the late-arrival dish off the bill and said sorry (without feeling) but sheesh. (just for fun…the pic below is the salt and pepper they brought after we asked for some. No shakers either, apparently) Worst restaurant experience ever.

Unprofessional. lazy server. Menu printed on sheet of paper, used well and dirty. No water offered. All our entrees were laced with seasoning salt aka MSG. Not even coffee or tea available to drink. What a waste of time and money.

A small gem that I would love to come in and experience but for this review I had taken it to go. But based on what I saw it looked very welcoming and athletic the service was friendly I was greeted quickly and asked if I was dining in when told taking out the took a look got my order and gave it to me with very friendly smile the food was fantastic the rice was the best I've ever tasted same with the potatoes and tazki and bread unfortunately the chicken although was very good was slight lacking in the Greek flavour that I was hoping for but still good my wife and I would recommend and like to come back

The place has a great potential because of the views. If I was dining there alone I would be definitely more forgiving but for a date or dinner with a friend, it was disappointing to see a bottle of wine served in different glasses. The table next to me was served wine in champagne glasses. The food presentation was good but the portions were smaller than in similar restaurants in downtown like Takis' Taverna or Stepho's Souvlakis. The taste of the food was acceptable. Would I go there again? I doubt it.

Amazing view and atmosphere. I'd probably only come back for drinks at sunset, though. We had souvlaki and the rice was so bland it was inedible. The rest of the dish was average and not memorable. The waitress forgot one of the things we ordered and never came back to check in, so we just never got the other dish. I live in the neighbourhood so would come back regularly if the food and service were much better.

We have walked by so many times as we live in the neighborhood. Tonight we finally went inside and had dinner.. I had a salmon burger. It was very fresh. A good sized piece of fish and a side salad. House dressing was good.My husband had the classic "old school" burger and fries. Traditional patty. The environment felt like an old pub by the water in a small town like Ladner. They have a cute patio too. Very nice staff.

We came for brunch and dinner and it was very good. The atmosphere and service was good as well, would recommend it for seafood or Greek cuisine.

I didn’t have the privilege of dining in, but called ahead to order some take out. Was very pleasantly greeted over the phone by Bella who went through the menu with me and pointed out some of her favourites. I settled on the Scallops & Tiger Prawn Linguini which was heavily recommended. Everything she described sounded incredible so I told myself that if the Linguini was good, then I’d be back to try everything else. The linguini was so good, I had to call back and thank her for the reco. Chef’s were very nice as well, it felt like everyone there truly cared about their craft. I can already tell that I found a new hidden gem in Vancouver which I’m telling everyone about.

This was the best calamari I have ever had. We were in Vancouver for two nights and made sure to go there both nights for dinner. Tops off to the chef, amazing!!!!

The service was terrible. I sat forever, waiting for someone to take my order. When I finally got my food and finished the appetizer and my 1st drink, the server kept walking by not clearing the used dishes or asking me if I wanted another drink. I finished the main course without ever getting another drink. I then waited for another long period for a bill. Eventually, I wandered in looking for the server to pay. If you don't want guests, don't open. I won't be back. The food wasn't terrible, but not worth it.

Amazing little Mediterranean style place tucked away in false creek behind Fairview. Wasn’t expecting much but the food was amazing. Seafood share platter packed a lot of flavour. Seemed a little understaffed at the time of visiting. Decor seems a little strange for Mediterranean?! Feels like a steakhouse.

Branas Mediterranean Grill is a hidden gem for those seeking a taste of Greece. This family-owned and run restaurant exudes a welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The service here is reminiscent of the good old days when simplicity and genuine care were paramount.During our visit, we opted for a late-night treat of calamari, beer and a caesar, and we were blown away by the quality and taste. The calamari was perfectly cooked, tender on the inside with a crispy exterior, while the beer complemented it splendidly.Branas Mediterranean Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Greek flavors, warm hospitality, and a charming patio experience. Prepare to be embraced by the warmth and care of this remarkable family-run establishment.
