Came by today and had a great visit from the moment we arrived. We were greeted warmly by the host and had a reasonable wait time. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was just as impressive. Overall, a fantastic experience!

I’ve been to the breakfast table several times and it never disappoints! My steelhead lox benedict was delicious and the Ume Latte is always wonderful, and so pretty!

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

Our group of 13 had high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several area.
We were given two separate tables placed with a considerable gap between them. When we tried to move the tables together to better accommodate our group to have a chat we were told—rather firmly—that no table rearrangements were allowed. The rigid attitude was unexpected and unwelcoming. What's was the big deal ?

As for the food, The quality and taste were well below average, and certainly not worth the time or money.

In all honesty, you'd likely have a better experience at a fast-food chain like McDonald's. I would not recommend this restaurant to any one.

Always a great place to go for brunch! The food is delicious, the service is great and the place is cute (especially the patio at the back zhen it's open). Be aware that it's a bit noisy but it makes it a lively place. Their waiting list is super convenient so you don't have to wait in front of the restaurant.

Enjoyed a soul satisfying Saturday morning brunch at Breakfast Table on South Granville recently. It was packed and we were told the wait will be 15-minutes. I thought to myself that means it will be 30-45 minutes (*rolls eyes*) especially given that 6 sets of people were ahead of us. So I was shocked when they actually texted us 15 minutes later that our table was ready!! Our server Natalia was so nice and helpful. We both ordered the “Hangover” breakfast (see my pic) that was $22 which was great value in my opinion and delicious. The bacon was next level. Both sausage options the pork and leek and chicken sun dried tomatoes were great and the waffles were a nice touch. The restaurant was absolutely packed and the staff were very efficient and navigated everything really well including 2 super cute wandering toddlers..lol. Would definitely go back again.

My partner and I went here for brunch after about a 45-minute wait—which was actually fast and suggested they were serving quickly. I had high hopes based on the positive reviews, but the overall quality fell far below average. The atmosphere was unpleasant, with harsh white lighting and dull décor, which didn’t set the right tone. Although the food came out quickly, it wasn’t warm and tasted very mediocre. I really couldn’t understand the hype, though I did appreciate the patched egg and the gravy on the chicken waffle my partner ordered.

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The server was very rude and dismissive, and the tip system felt overdone given the subpar service. The coffee was watery and lacked real flavour. The place was extremely loud—so much so that it felt like an “eat and go” setup, making us want to leave as soon as possible. I didn’t even get to finish my coffee because the constant pressure from the servers made the experience uncomfortable.

Overall, our Sunday brunch here was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I can say so many wonderful things about this place, starting with Aoife, our server (she’s a Galway girl!), our window seat (my favourite), delicious (Milano) coffee decaf and regular, clean bathroom, amazing pepper bacon, eggs done perfectly over medium with runny yolks, perfectly cooked veggies (el dante) with my breakfast to help keep my blood sugar in check. The Breakfast Table is a beautiful start to anyone’s day!!

The quality of breakfast here in impeccable, the coffee tastes just like in Cuba. Exceptionally well crafted meals, served on time, and paired with fantastic espresso. Obviously there's a good reason for all the 5-star reviews. Well deserved. But, ensure you like busy, cause this place gets busy!

An amazing twist on the regular breakfast fare! I come here pretty regularly and never get tired of the beef bulgogi hash and delicious drip coffee.

My FAV brunch spot!!! If you haven’t been here, COME. If you haven’t had their homemade Irish coffee with their pork belly coffee crusted eggs benedict with extra coffee béarnaise sauce, then you haven’t lived !!! I actually hated eggs benny until I came here. These are the ONLY eggs benny I will eat! Ambience and service is also awesome! Try and get the seat next to the windows. Always cheers me up on a bad day. Thanks to the chefs and everyone that works here! 🤩👌🏽
