We visited Bridges Tap and Barrel on Sunday July 13. I had made a reservation for seven people on OpenTable. I expected to be seated at the reservation time since I arrived to the restaurant on time and when we arrived, we were not seated for 15 minutes. Instead, we were taking from table to table as the hostess had no idea where to see us even though the restaurant was half empty. One of the nicest patios around. Tap and Barrel has a brunch menu on weekends which is when I went. It's limited but you have the main menu you can order off of which gives you lots of non breakfast options. The food was tasty and the view from the patio on a sunny day just enhances the experience. If you're a visitor to Vancouver, definitely something you should do as it's located in one of Vancouver's must see tourist spots, Granville Island.
We had a great dining experience; everything from the food to the service was wonderful. They gave us an amazing table with a stunning view over the marina at Granville Island. Honestly, it's one of those places in Vancouver that people sometimes forget about just because it's been around forever, but it's still fabulous. The little touches made it extra special, desserts for the celebrants and even handwritten cards. Very thoughtful and appreciated. Worth a visit...
