(Trying everything at UBC journal #5)On my way to campus, I decided to try this spot for the first time. It was to my surprise that the bubble waffle wasn’t really the main thing here, because it was the hainanese chicken and rice. And deservingly so, as it was simply delicious. The chicken was nice and tender with these cucumbers marinating in the sauce that were so tasty. And when dipped into the sweet chilli sauce, it’s unbeatable. The portion was alright for the price (~15). I haven’t had much hainanese chicken n rice in my life but this place has encouraged me to try some more! I can’t wait to come back here, as the food came out almost instantly and it’s fairly close to a lot of my classes. Maybe next time I’ll try the bubble waffle and see where the name comes from haha. But ya recommended fs.(Also tried including a photo this time, my bad I’m not really the best photographer ?)8.4/10

Ordered the chicken laksa online. Good portion size with lots of chicken. Broth was hot, spicy and delicious, perfect for a cold day.

Order the rice noodlewith fish soup. The soup is pretty salty and flavorless (except tasting like MSG).
The hainanese chicken and rice has always been good when I doordashed it. Unfortunately they don't seem to be on doordash anymore.
