Nice little bubble tea shop right on Robson. Drinks came out pretty fast even though there were a few people ahead of me. The flavor was consistent and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. Good place to grab something while walking around downtown.

The spicy beef noodle soup was missing some ingredients (which was my favourite and the reason why I came)

Owner of this chain is nothing but greedy. Said he only opened a location at some university in the lower mainland because he knows how desperate and scarce university students are when it comes to “cheap” food. Furthermore, waited over and hour for one appetizer that should’ve only taken 20 mins max. I don’t know what he was doing in the back whether it be dilly dallying but I would much rather go to other locations of bubble world. Barely a 1/5 there are better places with better service than here, if I could I would rate this place a 0/5. Also food came out lukewarm and undercooked. I don’t know how you can take over an hour to cook something and still have it come out raw, unreasonable to say the least.

The real OG bubble tea chain in Vancouver! Bubble World has been around since the very beginning in the mid 90s, and has stayed true to the authentic taste and in-store vibe throughout the years.

The Robson store still maintains the “hangout” atmosphere that many of the tea shops used to have, with board games, arcade games, gachapon machines, and plenty of seating.

They have all the classic tea flavours with a wide selection of toppings, and a good hot snack menu. I like their real fruit drinks which are quite refreshing.

I really appreciate that they’re open late in an age where everything else closes so early, and that I can just visit without wondering if they’re going to be closed. Bubble world is a Vancouver gem and I highly recommend them for an authentic bubble tea experience.

I ordered one Taro milk tea, Told me to wait more than half an hour. Customer service is terrible. There were only 3 to 4 customers in the waiting area till way more than half an hour never coming back again.

Great place!! I love the tea itself, and boba pearls. They have a much bigger selection then other places I've seen. It's my go-to, would recommend (* ☆◇☆ *)!!

We live in Langley, and often dine in at BW langley or Surrey interchangeably for a quick, warm and yummy food with good service. So amidst all the choices of restaurants on Robson St, we still went to BW just to be safe. However, the taste of its food is as bad as their service.
To injure the salt, we can't even wash our hands properly as they only have gel sanitizer in the shared BR.
Once we went to the restaurant, we had to pay up front. The machine gives three tipping options. Considering all the good services we have had at other locations, I gave decent amount. After 10 mins wait, I asked the only server there, if she could get us some water. She said, do it yourself, I can only provide you cups. Wow, that was something I have ever heard of! You charged me up front, but now you telling us it's self-based service. Whatever, no biggie we got water ourselves.
Waited 30 mins, we finally got our food, remind you we were the only customers at that moment. One dish we order was sauteed pork belly with cabbage. It should fresh be cooked with fresh pork belly, but the entire dish was made of cured meat making the dish too salt to eat.
I ordered a hot pot. What a mistake! Look at the picture, it looked as someone's vomits and it tasted like one too. The portable hot pot stand was flaming hot, when I ask the server to put it out. She was going to let the flame out by pouring water on a propane based stand! Wow, what a joke!
Everything went wrong and list goes on and on. The worst part to me personally was they only have gel hand sanitizer in that washroom. We all know hand sanitizer can't be replaced with hand soap.
Im in shocked by the service we received as there was noun, and low standard considering BW is a well established franchise . I understand how difficult to run a restaurant because our economy and the competition out there. Yet providing the basic respect to your customers is the only way to help you in the long run.
