Great food in generous portions - if you go alone be careful not to order too much. Each dish serves two people pretty well and prices are fair for the portions. Excellent choices for dessert and a cool vintage vibe. We are definitely coming back!

Honestly fantastic in every way, food was absolutely delicious, great service and atmosphere! The suggestion for the special Valentine’s chocolate fondue was a hit with our 5-people group, gotta make this a permanent item on the menu!

I recall visiting Burgoo with my ex-wife some time ago (~20+ years), and I went last Saturday. In that time, prices have risen and the portions shrunk, which given the economy nowadays, should be expected, at least a little bit. Despite this, they haven't compromised on the quality of food. As to whether or not the value is good is up to you.

First time visiting Burgoo. Stopped in for a quick light lunch, very good selection on the menu, lots of choices from small to large dishes. Great comfort food for a rainy winter day in Vancouver.
Between the 3 of us we had the grilled cheese sandwich / cup of tomato soup, french onion soup and jambalaya.
Everything was tasty, well proportioned and the service was efficient and friendly. We will be back and highly recommended.

Had a great lunch dining experience today. The carrot soup with Kale Caesar salad was incredible as was the attentive server. Thank you! Always appreciate not feeling rushed. See you again!

I'm not a fan of kale, but Burgoo smothered it in a Ceasar dressing that made it delicious. Plus, the corn soup with cumin was super spicy an delicious.

Great happy hour deal — buy one get one free appetizers. The parmesan fries and mac & cheese were delicious.
The soup and sandwich combo and the salad were on point, and the soup is highly recommended. Everything felt very comforting, especially for rainy and cold weather.
Cozy atmosphere and a great place to relax and enjoy a warm meal.

Almost 5 stars but felt ignored when we came in. The food was good but drinks weren’t what wanted
I do enjoy the Mac and cheese though
