Terribly unfriendly. Made us feel like shit for using the bathroom after we decided not to stay. We actually left because the prices were too high for us and there was no atmosphere. Will never come back

Amazing service by our server. We came in a bit late in the afternoon and asked for a coffee and hot chocolate. We were offered whipped cream for our hot chocolate and real cream for the coffee. Server was attentive and friendly. Definitely would recommend.

I really enjoyed my breakfast here, their menu is a carnivores dream. You won't need to eat for a month after their fry up. So much food.
Pleasant atmosphere and the staff are great.
Will come again for sure.

This is a great breakfast place! The owner has worked very hard to provide AMAZING gluten free and vegan bread and pancakes. Like when I tell you, when those pancakes came out- I was floored. I’ve have regular pancakes that pale in comparison. They were so fluffy and had amazing flavour, even the next day as left overs they were delicious. If you are gluten free or vegan this is a must stop place.

My partner and I visited Cafe Du Soleil today for the second time. The first time we went, we were blown away and already looking forward to the next time we could visit. The food here is incredible, some of the best pancakes I've ever had and lots of plant based options - you can tell they make it with love. The atmosphere is cozy and the location, right in the heart of the drive is great. On top of all that. what blew us away the most on our first visit was the incredible service we received, it was a younger man with a kind and calm demeanor who made us feel welcome and very taken care of. The experience was so pleasant I immediately deemed it one of my new favorite restaurants in the city, I told everybody about it.
Unfortunately, our experience today was quite different. We checked the hours online before showing up at 1:55, it says they close at 3, great! Plenty of time. After sitting, an older gentleman who I can assume was the owner approached us and warned us that they close at 3 and asked if we could order quickly, so we did. The vibe was immediately off and we felt very unwelcome, we felt rushed and like our business was an inconvenience to them, once the dishes were set down in front of us, all hospitality was lost - no acknowledgement to our multiple thank you's, no checking to see if everything was alright with us, it felt as if they were just waiting for us to leave and they wanted it known, right up until we were leaving (at 2:35 - 25 minutes before they close) - not even a thank you or goodbye. I myself work in the service industry and am very familiar with the annoyance of last minute guests who overstay their welcome, which is why I am so conscious not to be that kind of customer. We left feeling uncomfortable with the service we received and a little bummed that it could only hold a spot in our favorites list for such a short amount of time. Unfortunately I don't see us returning anytime soon.

God, I love American breakfast. This food makes me so nostalgic for my childhood. I got the blueberry pancakes with a side of the vegan sausage. Everything was phenomenal. Soooo delicious and a hefty portion too. I took a pancake and one of the sausages home.
Had the eggs Benny, okay, very small place, wouldn't go there with a large group unless you can reserve.

Holy moly was the server rude and passive-aggressive. And the food was late and overcooked (Eggs Benedict with basically a hard boiled egg on top).
I just went there with my fairly-well-behaved toddler and we were treated like a total nuisance. I was so unimpressed by the food and how we were treated that I was going to leave NO tip but opted for a LOW tip which the server made a snide comment about which was unprofessional and unfair.
This place will need to win us back.
